Massive Black Friday Sale - Tomorrow

    It's next week…

  • +4

    They're always 30% off, aren't they?
So 40% off would actually be 14% off.

  • I'm a fan of plastic sheds. Any of those available?

Easy Shed is the worst shed company out there.

My mate has bought a shed, took 2 months to arrive. Once it did it came damaged. They refused to pick up the damaged shed and wanted to offer 'metal sheet replacement'. They wanted him to go through a check list and note down all the damaged pieces. EVERY PIECE WAS DAMAGED.

If you saw the box it looks like someone dropped it out of an airplane and then got 500 elephants to jump on it.

They then decided to pick up the shed after multiple calls and escalating to a manager. But now he needs to wait an unknown time for the replacement. INSTEAD today they sent him a door piece only.

After trying to find out why they sent that piece… no one could answer the question.

You call the support team and it takes 30 mins to connect. Sales is connected instantly. But you talk to them and they can't help with 'problems'

Call centre is in the Philippines, no accountability.

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

      Same experience on my end.

        Disappointing to hear :(

I also had the worst experience with Easyshed.
The lifetime warranty is a joke. My shed buckled in strong winds and they refused to cover it under the warranty as it has an exclusion for storms! Who sells a shed that can't even handle a storm?! Their customer service is awful. My advice would be to just buy a shed from bunnings. Probably costs slightly more but at least they provide good products and great customer service.

    • Wow, thanks.. I will order else where now.

Thanks for calling this out. Just reading your experience, I can actually picture this happening as I've had similar experiences at other places.
It really is gold when you find a company that offers good customer service… and I hang on to those companies even if they cost a little more!

Might be an extra 5% off compared to their monthly/regular sales (if that).

    Neg for misleading RRP.

    • Sheds are overpriced in general. It's 4 walls and a roof how expensive can it be?

  • +3

Prices are jacked, so not much cheaper than year round. Definitely not 40% off.

  • Any legitimate shed deals you can recommend?

I was deliberating about these for a long time. Sharon gave me good advice that I really appreciated too. In the end what scared me off was the reports of lazy fabrication.. Holes in the wrong spot, missing pieces. I don't have time for DIY fixing a shed that needs to be erected before I know where to drill a new hole (unless they have an internal frame this is hard because they don't support their own weight until quite complete).

QA needs an overhaul then I'll consider.

I don't get why there a problem.. They should be drilling using templates.

Since they can't seem to get far that way maybe they need to pre-assemble before posting.

I bought my shed from them about a month ago. When i bought it through one of their never ending sales it actually works out cheaper than this black Friday sale. Their promotions are complete lies. They are never ending.

It arrived yesterday. So their claim of dispatched within a couple days is a lie. The box was very damaged with footprints all over the top. A few small dents because of this but it shouldn't impact putting it together (hopefully).

Their customer service is average. They said they would send me an email with the update of shipping process. the email never came.

Given the experience so far I don't have high hopes for a seamless assembly.

I ordered one of these a few days ago. Was very frustrated to see they started a sale just after I bought one, but sure enough the price is exactly the same now as when I ordered. So yeah, negs for predatory marketing tactics are definitely fair.

I'm a little concerned after seeing the posts for quality concerns (has anyone from OzB had any positive experiences?), but from what I can tell of reviews the poor quality seems consistent with these cheap sheds (e.g. reviews for the Absco range from Bunnings seem very similar, I even wonder if they're the same factory given the dimensions are almost identical). I'm hoping it'll at least be usable when it arrives so that if I have to DIY some holes to get it to fit at least it'll do the job.

I don't believe the sheds are from the same factory as Absco. Absco appear to be better quality and have a better wind rating (N2) that Easyshed (N1).
If you are able to cancel your order, I would recommend doing so and purchasing elsewhere. If you purchase an Absco shed from Bunnings, you can also get it assembled for a very reasonable fee. Going down this path would make it much easier to deal with any problems down the track.

  • Thanks all, I just dodged a bullet!
