I always get these freebies. Going early helps

      • How early we talking?

I got to a couple by 12pm and they were all gone.

night window ends at 5am, so i head out as soon as i can (always after i've had a coffee). traffic's better, too, at that time.

depending on how popular your local store is and the demographics of their usual customers, you probably don't need to go that early. perhaps on the way to work should be early enough for some. e.g. the Bassendean one is very popular with tradies who are often lining up outside even before 5am to get their coffee fix.

Shelf life of these is one day, would be no use hiding them as not many would pay to buy. Staff handing the box said mine was 'last' one lol

  • +1

Just picked up. They actually had them advertised as free with the app, Thanks OP.

  • Heaps of stock in Brisbane CBD

Managed to get one this morning. Had only 2 at the counter, decided to only redeem one even though have 2 accounts on 2 separate phones. Can't believe RRP is $5, the bites are so small they're probably equivalent to one normal glazed doughnut that's around $2.50-3?

Grabbed one thanks, lots left in Lindfield 7-11 :)

  • I knew my previous comment would be the jinx.

They actually had some. I know they are the size of my balls…but they actually had some! 🤣

    • +1

That doesn’t sound right, these doughnuts are really tiny.

  • +1

Thanks. I'm surprised I was still able to get this at my local.

  • 3 left at Dingley

  • A few left in Springvale South

  • Plenty left at Moorebank NSW about half an hour ago.

Went at 11 in Enfield. none available as usual

    • +1

Late for the freebies as usual I see😉

      • Last time I went around 9 to a few stores same story

        • 9am!! Living in a busier area, it's wise to try much earlier. I rang the store to check first.
Picked up @1am - so many boxes available!
People in quieter areas are still finding free stock now!

          • @INFIDEL: This.
Before covid my wife would try the stores in the Melbourne CBD and most times stock was gone by 07:00. I work a mix of suburbs and semi-rural and pretty much always find stock even in the afternoon.

            • -1

@mapax: I thought they would only get stock in around 6 or 7am (when the trucks start to do their drop offs), do they have the stock arrive at midnight? I am working 9-5 so dont really have the luxury of driving around at 1am :(. All the areas i try are suburbs as i work and live in the suburbs.

              • +1

@lonewolf: No idea what time the stock arrives but someone commented that the staff told them 02:00 and I’ve seen what I presume are fresh ones a bit before 05:00.

                • @mapax: Thanks for commenting with information and being polite about it

              • @lonewolf:

I thought they would only get stock in around 6 or 7am

You just needed to check the comments

Plenty of fresh stock at my local - in a suburb. - around 1 or 2am

The staff said 2am. - Sydney

As you thought they would arrive early - you could have gone to the store before work if you wanted one!
Instead you waited until 11am to miss out?

                Your username seems very appropriate!

                • @INFIDEL: Because i didnt want to waste my time driving around as i have done this many times in the past before work only to never find it in stock. For 6 minis which sounds like the equivalent of 1 - 2 donuts, didnt seem as worth driving around before work. Not everyone stays up to read comments at 2am to see if 6 mini donuts are available.

                  • @lonewolf: Such an effort to check before going to the store… & wasting your precious time!

Comments were waiting for you this morning - it was your choice not to check.

I suggested ringing the store as I did to check if stock is available.

                    • -1

@INFIDEL: Yes it is mate, i have work obligations as well as family obligations, driving to a 7-11 and parking and going in takes time. Its not like its right outside my house. We all dont have the luxury of having no obligations so going at 1am for 2 donuts or staying reading comments early hours of the morning. IF I had had luck previously in doing early trips then i may have considered it but like i said, I have done that before many times and never found any stock in the ones i visited. Judging by the 7-11 comments, thats quite a normal experience for a lot of people on here. Some stores either hide the stock or dont receive any stock of the freebies.

I have given you the benefit of the doubt even though you were coming across quite rude from the start . If you have nothing nice to say, dont bother commenting on my posts. I was letting people know as usual Enfield store didnt have anything. They have never once had any stock in any of the freebies or even special prices like ice cream etc.

                      • +1

@lonewolf: As I said - you could have checked comments or ring the store long before 11am to know stock had arrived. You already though it would arrive early & that the Deal was very popular.

There was no need to go to store at 1am for 2, but you thought stock would arrive by 7am. You chose to go so much later, despite warnings stock may go early!

You were letting people know not to wait until 9 or 11 am for stock at Enfield store. Most here would warn it was unwise to wait that long, especially given your previous experiences.

Try earlier next time, rather than claim a store never has stock! You can't know that if you usually arrive so late.

We all have responsibilities & lives that mean we will miss out on Deals. But blaming the store & staff for the outcomes of our choices is unreasonable.

                        • -2

@INFIDEL: Haha yup as no one else has reported issues with 711 and stock or lack of during these kinds of deals. I have already told you I have been at that store early many times before as well as other stores . Just go comment on another thread , this was my thread of comments. You could have responded with the same comments without sarcasm and jibes and just plain rude comments. Like how Mapax responded

                            • -2

@INFIDEL: Yes trolls off to the block list

                              • @lonewolf: You really have an appropriate username. Blaming others for your problems & not learning. So block away!

                                Enjoy your life & family.
We don't get everything we would want.

A few cheap morsels from 7-11 really don't matter!

                          • @lonewolf: Textbook case of Confirmation Bias, used to back up a belief (Enfield store never has stock in these Deals) as a fact.

Problem for those using Confirmation Bias, is they ignore information contrary to their belief (ignoring others advice - in comments & possibly not asking staff about stock, not arriving in time when stock was available but about 10hr after delivered, etc).

Those with Confirmation Bias, only see what they believe!

In experiments, people didn't see money they walked over, because of their belief. When told of the money, they argue it wasn't there… Until shown the video. Even then they argue it proves their belief (that they weren't lucky, so would never be lucky enough to find money) was still correct!!
I'm sure we've all seen that in others. It's much harder to be aware of it in ourselves!

Some here reported stock was not in usual.place - in fridge etc. It wasn't where I expected it. It was a 1 day offer, so was fitted in where staff could find space. Good advice for those who read the comments!

At 9am, I went for a different freebie to another 7-11, & saw none of these.
Someone who believed there were none, would have turned around & left - belief confirmed.
Instead I asked out of curiosity. Staff member pointed & said 1 left. Still couldn't see it, until person at coffee machine moved away. Stock level confirmed & commented here.

And those using Confirmation Bias fiercely defend their beliefs… a good clue it is a (strongly felt emotional) belief, rather than fact!
And criticise / don't want to hear from others who don't hold their belief…
(Sound like a certain election outcome?)

Beliefs can blind our senses, helping us confirm our belief!

As a person designing & reviewing research experiments in my past, I've seen very intelligent people with Confirmation Bias they were unaware of.

Confirmation & other bias is a nasty trap we make for ourselves. A warning drummed into most Uni students - but easily ignored.

On our choice of usernames & what they say about us…
I chose my username (not as some think on religious grounds), to remind me not to believe the common misconceptions & beliefs in our cultures - but, to look a little deeper.
Infidel has had a long held meaning in different cultures as a non-believer. Often reviled, attacked or ignored - for thinking different & speaking out! A proud tradition.

  • Can you claim multiple things from the app at once? The $2 ice cream is tempting.

    • yes. i claimed the KK bites and a regular KK at the same time.

      • Thanks.

    • The $2 ice cream is temptingly out of stock in the varieties on offer, when I've tried.

      • Yup I have been trying to find the ice cream to no avail.

Thanks OP! I picked up one and got it, at 8:30AM AEST though.

Whats the usual RRP for these packs?

    • $5

Still a few left at Railway Square near Central station in Sydney just before 11. They may be putting new stock out during the day?

  • The 7-eleven in Werribee near Officeworks has about 8 boxes left

  • It is removed as of 2:45 pm from the app.
    I am in Sydney.

Looks like they exhausted all the amount, as they said that it will disappear from the app when finished.

    • Offer is still there.

  • +1

Got the last one at 7-Eleven West End 4101 around 11am today. As soon as I walked over to the Krispy Kreme section the guy said there was one left before either of us said anything 😅

  • There was still some left at Glebe, NSW. Bravo to 7-11 for having lots of stock on this promo!

  • Still several boxes left in The Gap and Keperra QLD. Wifey got the first box on her account at 7am. I got the second box on my account just now at 3.01pm.

PS: They keep them at the bottom of the donut fridge.

  • +1

There's actually no point hiding these at the back, because they expire next day and will be thrown out next day/midnight.

    • People just think staff hide stock in these Deals, because they can't find it when they arrive. They can't accept others may have bought before them, or stock was limited or didn't arrive.

It's a pretty normal defence when we miss out on something we wanted - to blame someone else! That's not good for the staff!

There was plenty of stock today, if people arrived early enough.
