Any reason this is such a good deal? I mean sure its cheaper than apple by $15 but I wouldn't say its an amazing deal. This is a basic version compared to the 6.

Exactly! There are other means to get this cheaper if you really want it, either through gift card redemption or even Office Works price match policy.
I guess Officeworks would factor in the Costco membership cost as well?

I think the deal is because the SE is good bang for buck compared to the 6.

I could not see any major upgrade between 3 and SE, or even 6. I have been using 3 for years. Still running smoothly the latest watchOS.
I've been running my series 2 for a long time, and I've noticed that it's a little slow to wake up sometimes.
Apart from that it's been great all these years. It does make me think a new one would be nice though…
Price might help.
