Catch Connect 365 Day Sim Only Plan with 120GB Data for $120

130

I know the current Coles mobile deal gives you overseas calls to 18 countries and both (Coles mobile and Catch connect) run on the Optus network. But it is still a ripper of a deal though. I believe you can save 10% more through unidays or studentlink, if you are a member + 3.5% cash rewards on top makes it a good bargain.

Buy it, use it, repeat it - harder better faster stronger

Was able to get this for $99.36 recently thanks to uni days and 8% off gift cards via Suncorp.

I think Suncorp is only 6% off right now but combining the two still brings it down to $101.52.

Would rather get Amaysim 6 month 125GB deal for $65 after cashback.

It's on the Optus network as well and comes with international calls/sms.

why??? so one year = $130, it costs higher than catch…..
you have to wait months before the cashback, and also have to make sure they track the cashback…

Catch no longer supports international roaming… But I know no many ppl can go overseas in the near future.

    • You are right, their 12 months doesn’t have international calls, only the 6 months plan does.

  • I was on catch for a while and found their coverage was absolute crap as compared to boost/aldi or even kogan. I don't know whether to attribute that to Optus or catch, but whenever I was on public transport in SE melbourne It got to a point where i could not access the internet. I do not have the same troubles on boost.

    • Pretty sure that's the difference between Optus and Telstra networks.

    • Boost is way better in that sense. Catch/ Optus had a poor reception in inner Sydney suburbs and SE Melbourne.

    • I have found that Catch (optus) is far better than Voda/Kogan and slightly better than 2nd tier telstra providers.
      Traveling north coast NSW.
It all depends on where you are and the capability of the phone you are using.
Commonly 1st tier Telstra / Boost is the best.

  • Can you port from Optus to Catch?

    • Past comments suggest there is less likely to be any delays or hassles if you port to a different network.

  • Thanks for the post. Does anyone have any idea on a valid coupon code?
