Claim by 1/02/2021 !
They really want you to watch the Mandalorian.
Star Wars was better before Disney.
Nah. Mandalorian is the best Star Wars thing. Rogue One is the second best Star Wars thing. (Then OG trilogy)
Also: Jar Jar Binks.
Nailed it! …
Also Jar Jar is basically Snarf from Thundercats OG series …
The Phantom Menace was the best. Or so thought everyone now in their late 20’s early 30’s when they were a kid.
@[Deactivated]: Best villian after Darth, best lightsaber fight, best jedi pairing, and the return of the series after forever
@Jackson: And memorable soundtrack
Rogue one had an ok story. The Mandalorian is just aesthetically pleasing and would be more boring to read than any star wars movie (other than perhaps TLJ). I'm still a fan, just not raving about it
Where do you claim this?
edit: in the perks section of the app, nm.
Is this a new constant bonus with ultimate? Or are they giving Disney plus codes to ultimate members.
It's a one off perk that you need to claim before early January.
If you're wanting to watch The Mandalorian it might be worth waiting a little bit before claiming, the last episode of season 2 is on December 18 US time so if you hold on for a while you should be able to watch them all.
When I was a lad, back when all this were open fields, streaming services just gave you a free trial as a matter of course, it wasn't considered some kind of bargain or something that was hitched to some other subscription service.
I think Amazon and Stan still give the free trials (although that may be because there's more to Prime than just the video streaming, and Stan are probably struggling to keep up with the others so they have to grab whatever advantage they can find), but Netflix and Disney don't. Is there some reason for it? Were people finding ways to abuse it and get repeated free trials? Or are they just being bastards?
And don't forget guys - EA Play games is free starting today for Xbox consoles, and sometime in December for PC for any Game Pass Ultimate holder.
Shame it's "Ultimate" only. They really need another tier which is PC+.
I don't see the point in Ultimate as I'll never touch a console. Is it worth wasting essentially an extra month's worth of PC Game Pass to get 30 days of free Disney+ (even if I'm paying for it with Microsoft Rewards Points).
Ultimate members who are new to Disney+ will be eligible to claim the 30-day subscription trial through the Perks
left my subscription expire and claim it. worked fine
so i'm confused by how it says expires on 01/02/2021, Redeem by 03/03/2021. What does that mean?
As I'd rather activate it on 3rd february so i can watch the final wandavision episode on march 5th. But i'm concerned that it'll expire 01/02/2021. confusing (I don't have xbox pass experience)
The mobile app just tells me to claim this perk via Xbox or PC.
