        One thing though, when it loses internet connection it let's out a warning sound - no matter what time of day or night. And I can't figure out how to disable this.

          Thanks for the heads up. Such an odd feature. Will probably have to get our pup accustomed to the noise. Couldn't imagine the poor guy if he got scared by the noise, camera is now disconnected and were 30min from home. Don't think that'd end well haha.

            @ron8: Further note to this - they have introduced a setting called offline detection. Then when you enable that, it will only notify you when the camera was offline for 30 minutes or more. Good to see that this is being improved as we go along

      Though the photo example seems to be a daylight photo, just greyscaled and darkened.

      But I don't see any IR LEDs, unless that's one at the top - so probably not that good. I just ordered one myself, won't know until I have it delivered

    The better model Kogan SmarterHome™ 1080p Smart Wi-Fi Pan and Tilt Camera is currently $49.95 with Kogan First membership (free trial is available). That model definitely has night vision.
