      • Can't seem to get the free shipping. I did reverse side too…

edit: you got to keep going to the checkout point to see the free shipping.

Yup went all the way and shipping is not free. Used paypal and it kept on looping back to the confirm order page. Then went through the checkout page and nope it's not free.

Ha you are right. I didn't bother to go into the checkout. It's VistaPrint — I should have known that nothing is really free there!

    It says:

    Slow: 21 Days - $12.54
    Standard: 14 Days - $19.47

No good… OP should have checked.

Yep, even though it will mention "free shipping" along the way, you will still have to pay for shipping in the end. Still, $12 for a custom made mug is decent, right?

After entering info and such, shipping is $12.54 minimum

$12.54 seems extravagant - probably hiding production costs. And you can bet your ass the mug will arrive branded.

  • DAMMIT! Went all the way through and yeah, you've got to pay for shipping.

  • Delivery is $12.54 for me.

  • yeah, no free shipping….
and here I was going to make a Karl Pilkington mug :(

you can probably look forward to receiving a bunch of spam in your letterbox from readers digest after dealing with vistaprint…

  • i've made a couple of things from Vistaprint before. Word of advice? Don't bother ordering t-shirts and bags. Printing was horrible and the colours started to come out on the first wash. Ended up with clothes that look like a potato sack. Sizing is not too good too. Mugs were okay tho, no branding whatsoever (at least on mine), but comes with a small "Orca Coating (TM)" logo at the base. The printing is good, although the colours were seriously off.

    NEG from me.
    1) This is not a bargain.
    2) With shipping it is too expensive for what it is.
    3) The cost/profit is in the overpriced shipping (true cost of shipping would be $2-$3 via AusPost deal).
    4) It is Vista Print (usually an automatic NEG from me).

  • Guys,
If you give your credit card details to Vista print, I'd recommend that you monitor your transactions very very carefully over the next few months.

I have heard of dodgy going ons with them, Not a good deal for me.

  • $12 for a mug? they always offer "free" stuff and sting you with postage

  • Vista should be taken to the ACCC for their 'free' offers (see also business cards).

  • LOL
