I heard this version of TCL tv is very slow on boot up (Android TV OS).
there is a setting to not fully shut down the OS
you have to turn on fast boot mode in the settings.
Have had this TV for about 6 weeks now. Boot up is pretty quick with fast boot on. No complaints

The P715 and the C715 are the 2020 Australian models and are pretty fast…
This is P615
Correct. That is why it is possibly a bit slower.
Definitely update the firmware on it. Helps heeps.
This looks like a good deal but how exactly does one get a commerical membership?
Yeah, I actually work for a medium sized company and we still couldnt figure it out. Called their service line and they had no idea.

I got this last month. No complaints except for some reason can't turn tv on via app. Works fine via remote or Google assistant.
What about the actual picture quality and 4k use and stuff like that???
It's decent enough. I have it in kids lounge and they use it 100% of the time for streaming services. Barely gets used for FTA.
For the price it's decent enough. Although honestly I still haven't really sat down and watched more than about 10 minutes of it since I got it about 6 weeks ago.Okay well I'm fussy with picture quality and using 4k movies and PS4 etc
@Willco88: You will need to look elsewhere then.
I still haven't really sat down and watched more than about 10 minutes of it
That would require the kids not to use it '100% of the time…'
@jv: I do see the kids stuff tho. Just not sitting down
@Whatisthatvelvet: What are your kids watching? Netflix or Disney+
@Willco88: Yes. It's pretty much Netflix and Stan on it. No Disney atm.
Also have a HDD connected to the TV which I use Kodi to access.@Whatisthatvelvet: Well you need to sit down and watch it for me to see how it goes with fast pictures and stuff and of course viewing angles/reflection
You may be able to price-match instore and use 10% off gift cards
