  The Q60T is brighter (better for HDR) and has a wider colour gamut, but I'm actually surprised by how similar these TV's are. I suspect they are using the same panel, with peak brightness dialled back on the TU8000.
  
  If it was me choosing between these two TV's - the Q60T is worth the extra $107.

Samsung TVs are always automatically turn on itself. Had Sony TV before never have any problems.

Not as good as other similarly priced TV's like LG 65UN7300, Hisense 65S8, TCL 65C715 ($100 cashback too).
