I don't think they have international warranty.

Redmi! Ads
Which you can turn off and which stay off, when you turn them off.
Unlike Samsung's OneUI for example, which got caught out a few months ago for their ads which don't actually stay off.
@adrianhughes1998: Which you turn off ads being visabke but still load yeah . And the analytics that get exported back to you know where !
@jackinyourbox: Obviously these deals aren't for you then.
If you don't want to buy it, then fine. Keep your severely skewed and uninformed opinions to yourself regarding ads on Xiaomi phones. Facts are facts.
@adrianhughes1998: Hey,
If an accident occurred but you didn’t see it doesn’t mean it never occurred…
TROLL!
@jackinyourbox: rolls eyes
You're massively downvoted. Get your facts straight.
@adrianhughes1998: Lol. Unpopular fact. Also doesn’t help if it smells like massive xiaomis in here.
@jackinyourbox: -8 you're at. Versus +4 for me. Haha. Knob.
@adrianhughes1998: Classy hey, how’s the 8th grade anyway ?
@jackinyourbox: I know. They all end up at Langley or wherever their 'HQ' is.
I wish they ripped off Samsung's note stylus. And if the camera is decent, I'd jump ship.
This looks almost identical to 10T however there is no b28 band
Chinese rom, no official international one since the phone is only for Chinese market. It comes with english language though, right? But there might be some problem with uninstalling all the Chinese apps? (or did something change since last time I was playing with this?)
I'm using a Chinese version of Redmi. The 4G band is fine for me at least. As for the rom, unlock the phone on official website, then download the international rom and install. Here are my steps:
unlock => https://en.miui.com/unlock/
download rom => https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/index
Where is english language switch on that site?
Doesnt ship to australia grrrr
haha the global site lists NZ as destination but not Australia, starts at Brazil
Gives the Poco f2 a run for its money.
Not international version so guess no band28 for 4G, some 5G bands missing possible
Another question - does Chinese rom have google services? I think it doesn't. So all in all, the phone needs an unofficial rom anyway to run. I am very tempted but I think I am too old for all this trouble…
How are you learning to read chinese from that site lol
Haha, I don't - using translate option in chrome.
But this is internal knowledge - had redmi note 3 many years ago for a moment for fun. Moderate amount of fun with all the rom problems….
Anyway - I am checking this every now and then it's OOS all the time. So no more problems ;)
this site is all chinese, why would it still be up in Australia?
Has anyone used this site to know its credentials?
hey all I am looking at the Redmi 10X 5G from there
Anyone wanna help me order it?
NB. No band 28https://item.jd.com/100007265825.html
Any chinese that orders for me will get $20 Macca's voucher LOL
Google translate keeps on crashingSo i joined the english site and now it wont let me log into the chinese site!!
If you wanna do business, use the international language!!
You need a chinese phone number to sign up?
Someone delete this crapThat was a waste of my time Grrrrrrr
use google translate. You'll find "register as overseas clients" at the bottom of the registration page. Then choose Australia. Hope this link works => https://reg.jd.com/p/regPage?source=IBG&ReturnUrl=http%3A//h…
Ok finally signed up
Do we Buy now or wait till 11.11?
Well, it depends and complicated. If it's pre-sales, pay the deposit first. Normally, it doubles when you pay the rest on specified date (may not 11.11). Don't forget to use the coupon at the same time.
If you're buying mi mobiles, you may need to unlock it. Here are my steps:
unlock => https://en.miui.com/unlock/
download rom => https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/index@ytdarin: There are two coupons 1499 for 200 and 1000 for 100
How do you use them both? Where do you use them?
But I mean will it be cheaper on 11.11?
@ytdarin: So i want to buy this phone
https://item.jd.com/100007266141.html#crumb-wrapits sales price is 1599
i deposit 100 which gives me 200 credit on 1st November
Then there are two vouchers 1499 for 200 and 1000 for 100If i use the first voucher then i only need to pay 1099??
is this correct? which is cheaper than their listed price of 1299
EDIT: can you use two vouchers?
@[Deactivated]: Your math is … anyway, 1599 - 200 (coupon) - 200 (deposit) = 1199 on 1 Nov + your 100 deposit. i.e., 1299, plus 10% GST but no shipping cost at the checkout page.
just checked, you can not get the coupon using google translate. Open the link without translate, click the coupon (1499 for 200), you'll see a sidebar on the right, then click get the coupon.
Choose up to one coupon at the checkout page when you pay the rest on 1 Nov.@ytdarin: Thanks, so whats the shipping cost?
And how do you find this item from the cashreward link?
And will it be significantly cheaper on 11.11?
@[Deactivated]: no delivery fee.
no idea.
don't know.@ytdarin: AND WHY IS the k30 pro so cheap??
DO THEY SELL REFURBISHED TOO?
@[Deactivated]: no refurbished, but with a sim plan. Not for you.
…
Have you ordered from here before?
So whats the quality of their goods?
Whats their usual shipping cost? DHL $34?
Do they even collect GST?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JD.com
recommend you buy the item with the red "self-employed" label using translate.
you can see the shipping cost and GST at checkout. It varies.What does this mean? "red "self-employed""?
I dont see the shipping cost at all, so it s free shipping?
@[Deactivated]: no idea. google translation. I think that means shipping by JD.
@ytdarin: Promotion
Free basic shipping for the first orderHave you bought from them previously?
How long do they take?And what if item gets lost in the mail, do they have tracker like Aliexpress?
@[Deactivated]: don't know
Promotion
Free basic shipping for the first orderAnyone else bought from these guys?
What happens if item gets lost?
How much is the international shipping and GST? International warranty ?
