I am not a fan of phottix battery's I bought some from a reputable dealer in the states and initially I got close to the same life as the original canon in my 5dmk2 after 100 or so charges this gap has widened dramaticly I am now getting less than 1/2 from the 3 phottix battery's compared to my 2 original canons, and the canons have had more charges, it may be unfair to compare them to a battery 3 times the price.
I find the combo that's suits me best now is a phottix grip and 2 sets of eneloops AA's (12), the low self discharge means I am not charging every day, and I can use them in my flash if needed.
