        • Yep, was going to say the same thing. TBH I will probably use manual mode 95% of the time.

As for pressure, I found that it was accurate after it had pumped up the tyre and pressurised the line, but I dont think its designed as a simple measuring device.

          • @camr00: Even in manual Mod Max goes to 103psi. What do yours go to?
Pressure Guage: Still shows incorrect after letting it add 1 extra psi i.e. showed as 23psi where as in fact was 41psi

            • @Borg: Make sure its set to psi. If its set to bar then the max it shows is 10.3 (bar) and then when it goes to measuring mode it will show 103 (at least on mine). Set to psi mine goes up to 150.

              • @camr00: Ah yes, thanks for that. I had it show 000 neither bar nor psi and one can send it up to 103. Now if I hold and change to psi it shows 150psi, hold again goes to 10.3 psi hold again shows 000 but up one shows103. Wonder what that represents.
                Disclosure: not yet read manual!

                • @Borg: Ignore my "Wonder what that 103 represents". I meant to edit that out but got sidetracked on a call and now can't edit!

    • I second your review on the quality, but faced some issues. I have used it on 2 different bikes + car tires.

Bike #1, 29" tubeless, 40 psi, presta valve, top up
Hook up the air pump, reads around 13-14psi (tire has >25psi) then gets to 40. Unhook, rehook, reads 12psi while tire clearly over 30psi, close to 40 imo. Tried before and after my ride, same story.

      Van, 40 psi, top up
Air pump fully recharged, stopped at 38psi for no obvious reason.

      Bike #2, 26.5", 40 psi, top up
Shows 18 psi on a tire that clearly has 30"+

      Battery
After topping up the 2 tires of bike #1 shows the orange light already!

Have I come across a faulty unit?

      • I noticed the same thing i.e. accuracy of PSI and reports much lower PSI than actual and need to retest (no time as yet).
Might make some time today to run more tests. Haven't yet tested the battery duration.

        • Just tested on 3 bikes.
Inflated to 60psi using device. Reconnected it and says 45psi. Same on all three bikes.
I tested the preasure using 3 different bike pumps and all reported the preasure close to 60psi. So why is the Mi Device under reporting buy a good 12+ psi (factoring i +/- 2psi.

Battery started flashing orange after (at a guess) 10mins of use all up. Still not flat so can't comment on absolute use but I can say there is no way it would last 20mins if say using on a flat car wheel (I doubt).
(EDIT……I inflated/deflated a racing wheel to 100psi 3 times and still has power (approx 15mins total use now). Just takes longer. Wil continue to do this until dead battery)
I want to drain it fully and then recharge to stretch its wings rather than charging from 50% being a new battery.

          • @Borg: Thanks for sharing your testing.
It's of no use to me if it's not reliable on the reading as I need to cycle (bitumen) to the dirt tracks at 40psi, deflate to 24-26psi, then inflate to 40psi to head home. The idea was to replace the manual pump.

          • @Borg: https://cyclingtips.com/2020/03/xiaomi-mijia-vs-fumpa-electr…
I was pretty positive after reading that review, hence me buying it.

            • @[Deactivated]: ACCURACY = is definately questionable unless we are both doing something wrong. Device is very handy though. It seems to inflate correctly the first time. Its when one goes back to recheck it seems to report 10psi under. Stick a small preasure test in your bag!

BATTERY (update). I carried on deflating/inflating to 100psi (giving it a 5min rest between every 2 as I don't want to overheat new battery). Up to approx 6 times now and battery did start flashing red and still managed another two 0 -100 inflations. My guess might get one (2mins) more before it dies.
In Short: My battery is fine and estimate 25mins all up

      • Can it be used plugged in if the battery is flat?
