Oeck VPN 1-Year Subscription for A$93.96 (Normal Price $167.76 When Paying Monthly)

110
gabba

Hi everyone,

We have decided to do an OzBargain special for the Grand Final!

We also allow users a free ( no payment details required ) 3 day trial to test the service out and see if it is right for them. Due to our VPN only using our own hardware and the high cost per customer, we have limited this deal to 150 slots. To claim the deal, please use the coupon code "gabba" in the coupon code box when making your purchase.

Our VPN works differently to other VPNs on the market today. We suggest users who are familiar with VPNs take a quick look at one of our demonstration videos. Although this video is dated ( we now have over 30 Netflix regions and other automatically unblocked channels from around the world ), it will give you a good idea of how Oeck works.

You can view this video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Co1AHDTNgY

We also suggest having a quick read through a few of our pages on our website to see what we offer.

I'll be here to answer any questions you all may have. Please note that this is a high-end privacy service primarily and none of our hardware is rented.

Peter @ Oeck.

Sell it to me. Why would I go with you when I could go with express VPN which is often rated as the top VPN and it’s cheaper.

      Hi Slo20,

      Thanks for the reply!

Alright, here we go. This is going to be a little bit long.

All VPNs in the market are the "top" VPNs. We actually tried to get reviewed by many of the VPN ranking sites. You know the ones who review VPNs and test the speed, stability etc. Out of those who got back to us the first question we were asked was "Where is your affiliate system?". When we made them aware we don't have an affiliate system we were told they are too busy and once we get an affiliate system in place we should reach out to them again for a review.

So with that knowledge, it is a fair assumption to say that those who rate VPNs as the "top" VPN are biased.

Here are our features and what is unique to us!

Streaming Automation - Connect to the VPN region nearest to your location and still access content from overseas streaming services. We take away the need for you to jump around VPN regions. You can also set regions for specific streaming services. For example you can set your Netflix region independently - similar to how a smartDNS service works. This means no more searching for the "right" server to connect to. Just connect to the VPN and we take care of the rest.

Device Profiles - You can have up to 100. Each profile allows you to have unique settings for when you log in. For example, you can have one for your computer, another for your iPad, another for your partner, another for your child, etc.

Advanced Port Forwarding - You no longer need to keep track of IP addresses or configure your software to work with the VPN ports you are given. Just tell us which port to forward to and which device profile and it's done.

For example, if you set up a web server on your computer and enable port forwarding, regardless of which VPN server you ever connect to ( any server, any region ), to access your web server you would go to username-mydevice.oeck.me:portNumber - It stays the same :)

      Also great for torrenting.

Ad, Malware, Social Network and Adult blocker - You can pick and choose which ( if any ) of the blockers you want enabled for each device profile. This allows you to turn on Adult blocking for children's devices but keep yours open. It is also very extensive and does a good job of blocking most ad, tracker and malware domains.

Custom filter - You can take the blockers even further by adding your own domain block-list on a per-device level. This gives you complete control over each and every device. This is very powerful and is easily built on.

Custom DNS - You can set your DNS on a per-device level. You can choose for the VPN to give you complete control to your DNS, or set your DNS and still allow the VPN to take control over certain domains in order for the channels and blocking to still work. This means you can even use your own DNS if you wanted to.

Automated server selection - When a user connects to a region they will always connect to a server with the most resources available. This completely removes the need to server-surf on the users end. They just connect to a region and they will be sure to jump on the server within that region that has the most resources available at that point in time.

All of our VPN servers run without ANY hard drives at all. We have gone to great lengths to make sure our users get the best service and the most secure one. As a VPN service - forgetting the bells and whistles - it is fast and secure with fantastic privacy.

Signing up takes a few seconds and you get 3 days of unrestricted access to our service. Try it and see if it is right for you :)

      • Hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Peter @ Oeck.

      • Thanks for the detailed explanation Peter.

I like the no hard drive model (I haven't seen anyone else marketing or using that).

Device profile feature is nice too. How many devices can be connected to VPN simultaneously? 100?!

          Hi agentsmith1999,

          You're very welcome!

No, not 100. You can have up to 100 profiles, but concurrent connections are limited to 6. The reason for this is that our cost per customer is a lot higher than traditional VPNs. This comes in terms of owning our own hardware and how we do all of the unblocking, device profiles, DNS filters etc.

          Regards,
          Peter @ Oeck.

  • I'm with Slo on this. I pay a helluva lot less for ProtonVPN bundled with my email and they're also privacy-centric. What separates you from them?

    • Hi Tacooo,

I have replied to Slo. Please feel free to have a read of the reply :)

      Regards,
      Peter @ Oeck.

  • OK how servers do you have? How many in India? Does your VPN support/unlock Hotstar and Zee5. does it support Android TV / Shield ?

      Hi The Krat0s,

We have VPN regions available in Melbourne, Sydney, London, Seattle and Amsterdam. However, if you are looking for geounblocking we use our smartRouting system to do it for you. We have over 30 residential proxy regions available. If we have not automatically unblocked services you are seeking, you can put in a request so we can add it to the unblock list.

You can find the list of our unblocked channels at https://www.oeck.com/pages/channelAutoGroup1/

We do have customers using our service on Android. It depends on what you need the VPN for.

      Regards,
      Peter @ Oeck.

too little unblocked channel , no japan, hongkong, taiwan, china :D

        • +2

          Hi uccoffee,

The unblocked channels are automatic. We do have Japan as a proxy region. If you let me know which services / channels you would like unblocked I can add them to the list. Even if you are not going to subscribe, it will come in handy to our other customers.

          Regards,
          Peter @ Oeck.

Comment from a current user. I’ve been using Oeck for some time now and I have not had a single issue with it. I also have ProtonVPN which breaks some sites. Oeck does not. I love it.

    • Hi kyteflyer,

    +1 from me too.
Have been using them since I discovered their beta on Reddit a few months back.
Had no issues so far, and I like how the company is local.

    • Hi Kibbelhs,

Thank you very much for the support! We are really happy that you're enjoying the service :)

      Regards,
