    Ok, just called my local JB and asked if my order is ready to collect as per SMS, they put me through to a manager and he advised that it is :)
    He said this was a price error but JB has decided to honour this still if you have the Click and Collect SMS!!

  • I got the cancellation notice earlier this morning, and now just got a text message saying delivery on the way. Here's hoping :-).

      • yes 32gb, in Melbourne. Ordered late last night (10:30pm), received text message a 1:12 that it will arrive today, and it just arrived 5 minutes ago at 1:35.

        • did you pay the extra $5 for the same day delivery?

    Got lucky I believe.. got a refund email early morning like everyone else

    Received order ready at noon.. tried my luck.. drove up and waited for 10 min (sweating)

    lady came out with it and i sped off like crazy :P

    Just collected mine at 12.30pm after receiving a cancellation order in the morning and two hours later receiving an email and sms that the order was ready to be collected.

  • So I received an email and SMS about 4 hours after the cancellation email advising my order was ready for pickup.
    Called the store and they said that I was "one of the lucky ones" whose order is there ready to be collected… Winning!!

      • Yeah, it's so stupid. Honor a bunch of them but screw over everyone else! A friend of mine ordered one for delivery half an hour after I ordered mine and he just got his shipped, while my click and collect is either cancelled or in limbo as I haven't had a pickup email yet. Wtf JB??

    Collected mine at JB HiFi World Square. According to the staff, they have changed their mind to honour all orders that got through. Happy days!

          • @eckers19: I didn’t ask. They just said that they will honour all orders that got through but new customers won’t be able to buy the item at the same price. So I assume that’s for both C&C at delivery as long as you have order confirmation.

      I can confirm that at least those who received text/email to collect, are now able to as instructed by their head office now as previously they were told they couldn’t.

        • I’m not sure as mine was click and collect. The retail shops was only recently given clear about less than an hour ago.

    Just called my local store about my click and collect order. When I went in this morning to collect they couldn't honour it and said it was a pricing error. But now they said I can come collect it.

    So if you already had a C&C order confirmation, you should be able to pick it up.

    • Nahh … i called my local store. They didn let me collect the order in the morning despite the fact that i have got confirmation email and text for pick up

      Now ,They are saying that they are still waiting for the head office to confirm if the order could be collected ! or may be it depends upon the store manager ? but all this seems like a scam !

        Yeah, it all seems very inconsistent. Some ppl have gotten a message/ email from JB saying they can pick it up again. I never did. If I didn't call them, they wouldn't have let me know.

        Anyway, I just picked mine up. All good.

  • I got the email this morning that it was a pricing order, and my order will be cancelled, however I just (1.15pm) got an email and sms saying it will be delivered by 6pm today! I paid for the 'same day delivery' even though I ordered last night. Wonder if its going to turn up?

      • It was $9 total for delivery. Think my options where $5-6 for auspost (4-5 days), or $9 for 'next day'.
        Just got another SMS saying its on the way.

    I got cancellation too. But came to pick up and try if I can get this. Wasn’t expecting this but they honoured order. I collected.
    Still Not happy they cancelling order and sending out mass email though.

  • I went in store to pick up at 12pm. They said no sorry and told me all about pricing errors.
    Then I get a text at 12:33 and a follow up phone call that I can pick it up as they've agreed to honour it.
    On my way back now…

    Received an SMS + email advising me it was ready for pick up (before 9AM).

    Then received an email notifying me that the order was cancelled, via email, at around 9:30AM. I received no notification of cancellation via text, and my order was still “processing” on JB’s website (not sure if these are relevant points but wanted to mention it just in case).

    Tried my luck at 1:30PM, and they honoured the pick up. The guy who brought out my order said they were told to initially cancel these orders as they were meant to be discounted but not this much, but then for some unknown reason were given the clearance to fulfil the order.

    Got the cancellation email this morning. I chose express delivery.

    Just got a phone call from local JB, for no extra charge they will deliver it to my door by 6pm tonight… (in Melb) Score!

      • Can't hurt. I know for the door to door delivery service they are doing for Melb at the moment they dispatch at 2:30pm. So it would be worth a try.

    Called JB Doncaster- told them if I should come pick up my click and collect- was told head office told them to start approving them? I picked up mine now,
    Got sms/email sms 825AM for collection, cancellation email at 921AM

                  • @eckers19: I wasn't saying you won't get it. I was saying they ship out deliveries for their door to door service at 2:30pm. So they may upgrade you to that service rather than express delivery.

  • I just check in my jb account and the order status is “Shipped”. Mine is for delivery. Haven’t received cancellation email yet. May be others can also login and check the order status.

    There is Still Hope…

    I received my refund email this morning and assumed the order was cancelled. Then I received an email and text at 11:57am stating my order from JB HiFi will be delivered by Oct 22. Hmmm. That's today. At 1:51pm I got another text saying the delivery was on its way. At 2:02 the delivery service knocked on my door and sure enough I now have my 32gb Apple TV. I didn't even pay for one day delivery. Well done, JB.

  • I got cancellation this morning too, but delivery is on its way. I chose the 8.99 option for delivery today from the store. Moore Park. Sounds like they are backflipping.

    Edit : Just arrived. Delivery driver was JB staff and she mentioned they were told today to honour all orders that made it through.

  • Just picked mine up from Carseldine QLD, was gonna be real annoyed if mate's shipped but mine got cancelled lol. Good that they're honouring it, but I feel for those people that drove to their store this morning and got turned away, only to have to now drive back to get it…
