  • Heaps of cheaper versions on Etsy.

    • It looks like these are made from silicone, as opposed to the 3D printed versions that are everywhere.

But still nothing special about these nor the price…

      • We try. And done lots of research, including competitors. It goes without saying everyone is entitled to buy/shop where best suits them.

Happy for either of you to post a link to an equivalent product at a better price.

        Please keep in mind
Tracked shipping inc & replace/refund faulty/incorrect/lost in transit orders
        Stocked in Australia
        Next business day dispatch
Equivalent heat and chemical resistance of material (granted not vital to all people that purchase them, but to those people who need those parameters, its vital)
Whether the tax man gets its cut or not
Supports a charity (PPE to Aus HCW) (optional)

We understand there are many ways to hold ear loops away from ears.

Purpose built silicone ear saver is the solution we provide. 👍

          Sure. Here's 3 links.

Here's a pack of 10 silicone ear savers for $12 with free postage, on eBay

          https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10x-Adjustable-Face-Mask-Ear-Hoo…

Here's a 3 pack, again silicone, on Amazon AU

          https://www.amazon.com.au/PureRejuva-adjustable-silicone-ext…

          $2 each on Gumtree

          https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/cheltenham/accessories/face-…

Equivalent heat and chemical resistance of material (granted not vital to all people that purchase them, but to those people who need those parameters, its vital)

Lol please, get real. Your silicone rubber isn't anything special, it's a naturally heat/chemical resistant material and it'll more or less be the same as everyone else's. Besides, vital to those who need those "parameters"??? Who needs 200 degree heat resistance for a little clip that goes onto their head?

Your product isn't anything special. It's another cheap generic product, the same as everything else on the market, at a similar price.

          • @Harold Halfprice: Fantastic thanks! I understand OzBargain is an open forum and can be a bit of wild west at times.
Ive checked your links. I'd encourage anyone interested enough to do the same. Up to the individual to decide, once they have done the maths.
Never claimed the silicone was "special", that was your interpretation, however there are different grades of silicone, ours is food grade, which lends itself to suitability in settings you havent considered. Thats OK too.
I realise you are just one guy on a keyboard, doing your thing.
We'll continue to do our thing, providing a quality product, tracked & insured shipping, paying tax, donating to charity, backed up with consumer assurances and exceptional customer service, and from time to time offering significant discounts.
            Cheers
            Warren

            • @Diesel1000: Prob should have added to

              "…..doing your thing"…..
and thats ok too. Everyone is entitled to the veiwpoint.

We encourage anybody, no matter what the product, to do their research and choose their best suitable option.

              Cheers 👍

From the way it is design, it would appear to require more effort to put on and take off. Solves a problem, but creates another?

    • Good question.
Easiest method is attach the ear saver to the mask ear loops first, hold a bit of tension on it and then put it on.
Image on front page gives a good visual

I'm wearing one right now. You get the hang of it pretty quick.

I bought the plastic ones on eBay. They are too short/small (seems suitable for kids only) so when I hook the disposable mask on, it was so tight that it tore off the elastic loops from the mask many times. Waste of money. Better to get the silicone stretchy ones which are slightly longer (at least 17cm) and more comfotable. If you know how to crochet, you can make these yourself.
