Between the 3rd of November and 9th of November, if you trade in your old console towards your next-gen preorder, you’ll also get double trade bonus for any games and accessories traded in as well.

    Just traded in my ps4 and a few Xbox games (have both consoles). I don't have a preorder, so didn't get the extra bonus. But happy with the credit I got. In total, $404 credit 🙂
    I bought my ps4 2 years ago for $299, today I got back $241.50. Not bad!!!!

    I'm an eb lvl 3, so got an extra 15% on everything which I'm ok with.

      The ones which jump out at me are Spyro (given it was recently included in Humble Bundle on PC) and Titanfall 2 (which is always heavily discounted digitally).

    Just traded in my PS4 Pro today with some games for a PS5 preorder. From the looks of things I didn't get the 30% bonus (for level 3) on the games - just 15%.

    Am I correct in my assumption?

    Made phenomenal use of this deal. Picked up a PS4 off gumtree for 250 with 2 controllers, modern warfare and mortal Kombat. (Lucky; good price) Got 447.49 towards my PS5 with level 3! Thank you OP.

    Hi, I was wondering about the trade in program. My plan is to trade in as much credit possible to get the new Xbox Series S or X potentially. If I trade in my Xbox One S 1TB with a level 4 membership how much will I get with $200 Xbox one s 1TB valuation? I also plan to trade in my Wii Console, would that be valid to trade in? After that I would also like to trade in a couple of Xbox One S games and Wii Games with the level 4 (40% bonus). Could you please explain to me clearly how this will work as I really have a hard time understanding fully how this will work. Items planning to be traded (Wii Console, Wii Games, Xbox One S 1TB, Xbox One Games). Also, can I use my mates eb world card for the bonus discount (lvl4)?

      You missed out on the double bonus for games and accessories. The console trade in towards a pre-order is still available. So, for now:

      1. To benefit from the console trade in, you must have an EB pre-order for a next gen console.
      2. Using your mate's EB world level 4 discount is only feasible if you are willing to have the pre-order placed on his account. Right now, I think only XBox Series S pre-order is available from EB (others have all sold out).
      3. You won't be able to get double bonus for games. However, your L4 mate could still have a workaround for it. L3 onwards get a birthday bonus deal. Your L4 mate could help you by trading in those games and accessories (assuming he has a birthday between now and early January).

      In short, you are too late to the party unfortunately (unless you are after a Series S and your L4 mate's birthday is coming up soon).
