No, women are allowed to use subscribe and save too. These days…

      • +4

They offer delivery straight to the kitchen

        • Can you use these to make sandwiches?

Good to see all the misogynists out themselves

@WinstonWithAY: It's called jokes. Remember those? I mean these one's are so benign, it's ridiculous that people would downvote them. When you try to stop all jokes and drive free speech underground, all you do is remind the real misogynists (or any other 'ists') to keep quiet about their opinions so that we can't discuss it and in turn educate them.

            • +2

@kiriakoz: they were joke downvotes, so that makes it ok.

Is there any real difference between mens and women's disposable razors anyway?

I always suspect they're the same just in pink.

    • +4

Schick don't hate men, at least.

    • The gel in the easy glide strip eats through XX chromosome skin. If you don't have the formulated XY skin then it'll eat through your body like the goo ate through the spaceship in Alien, so these razors are for men only I'm afraid.

    • +3

      about the same, 9.23/4*6=13.845

    • Similar price I got last week from Coles specials

Save your money and get a DE Safety Razor

    • Thanks, but no thanks

These razors save me about 20 minutes in the morning vs a DE razor. I value my time a lot more than a couple of bucks.

        • +3

It's hardly like buying disposable bottled water. You really need to have impeccable green credentials to make a comment like that.

@[Deactivated]: Yeah anyone who's that much of a hardcore hippy never shaves anyway

        • +2

Not really since I plan on having at least 2 kids… but I will ban them from ever going on a cruise ship.

          What about you?

      • If you've tried it, you've tried it, but I've only been DE shaving for a month or so and can get a decent shave in 5mins start to finish. I thought the same before I switched from electric but it turned out to be fairly quick with a synthetic brush (no need to soak) and a soap like Cella that lathers quickly.

Do these work with the Hydro 5 Sense handles? Or are they different?

  • +2

    Are they better than Mach3?

    • More blades = better according to the razor manufacturers.

Ignoring them, you can get a perfectly good 20-pack of twin-blade razors for $4.00.

      • +2

Yeah that's what they reckon but I get a much smoother shave forom a single DE blade that I ever did with the multi-blade cartridges. Each to their own though.

    • +1

I tried these but did not like them, so I am back to Gillette :(

      • Can highly recommend the Prince Calibre 6 blade from Aldi as an alternative - performs equally as well as Gillette IME and always at an excellent price. Woke free too.

        • I found the cartridge would always fall out when shaving. It's like the clips aren't strong enough. Switched to Schick and haven't gone back (was on Gillette but f them).

          • @CVonC: not my experience with the aldi calibre 6 blades - like drewbo, highly recommend them. Still YMMV

            • @idyllboy: They may have improved? I actually started using them because everyone on here was recommending them in every single razor/blade thread. But there's been 2 people on product review that have noted the same thing which I also noted in this thread.

What's a shame is that the Aldi blades don't fit properly on my Schick Hydro 5 handle. Apparently they're only interchangeable with the Quattros.

      • +1

I think with the prince ones they work best if used daily. If you haven’t shaved for a few days the gap between the blades blocks up quickly. Might be the way I use them I suppose.

I ordered two packs of these and 50 minutes later they have been dispatched. Nice.

    Any deal on the handle?

  • +2

    Subscribe and save sold out?

    Cant see the option.

  • Same here!?

  • lol on the Frequently bought together.

  • These are half price at Woolworths atm too

  • Man, good times with Schick's Hydro Bot………

  • Razor sharp price here. Pity it's Amazon..

  • Thanks OP, purchased. The only thing extra I wish they had was the reverse single blade that the Gillette's have. It allows me to trim the whiskers under my nose. Apart from that, excellent blades.
