    Inb4 the boycotting Gillette comments

    • +3

      All rise SJW XD

    • +3

Don't forget to boycott Olay, head & shoulders, Oral-B and countless other brands!

On a more serious note I haven't found anything that tops Gillette Sensitive.

      • +3

im a bloke so don’t need the olay so that is an easy boycot, im bald so head and shoulders is an easy boycot …..oral b is tough one one, even real men brush their teeth.

        • The Olay moisturiser is good for your skin.

        • You can always buy Colgate.

      • Would've been a lot more interesting if it'd been, say, a Google or Microsoft.

From a calls-to-boycott perspective, that is, given their relatively captive customer bases.

      • Oral-B

Tough call, $20 electric toothbrushes are the bomb.

From now on I'm only buying 4 pack brush heads from Aliexpress for around $2. I hope P&G are losing money like inkjet manufacturers.

        • I tried the cheapies from Ali once and they tore up my gums. Though switching to SOOCARE might be a cheaper and better option.

    • +9

These are the ones for sensitive snowflakes; on sale due to massive demand drop off.

      • not just sensitive snow flakes ,more about shaving sensitive body parts.

    • +9

you should be boycotting them for throwing away the safety razor blades as soon as the patent expired and forcing everyone to buy expensive plastic disposables instead that cost 100 times more per piece

ask yourself why their only inventions have been adding an extra blade each year for the past decade or two. why do you only need one blade to get a closer shave with a safety razor that sells for 5 cents.

      are Gillette being honest. no

      • -1

hmm de safety blades $20 for 100 vs gillette $2.75 for 4 blades …. think de safety razor is the bargain ….

      • -3

you should be boycotting them for throwing away the safety razor blades as soon as the patent expired

Gilette still makes and sells the safety razor blades it started selling in 1901. The phrase, "Bald faced liar" comes to mind, and the disgusting thing is how the OzBargainers lap up the false milk. Five upvotes for a lie?

Disposable razors cost much less because they contain much less metal.

        • Which major supermarket are the 7oclocks sold in? Oh yes, none of them

Do you know the difference between a razor and a blade

  • +2

    Boycott Gillette!!!!

    Jk never uses them before

    • +1

      That explains the beard 😊

  • +2

I’m so hipster. I stopped using Gillette before it was cool. Schick all the way. :D

  • +4

I use ALDI with unique 6 blade Made In Germany, gillette can get stuffed

    • Interested. Link?

        • Cartridge comes away from handle very easily when cleaning.

NEED TO IMPROVE THE GRIP BETWEEN THE CARTRIDGE AND THE HANDLE. It is terrible. During my shave , I drop this cartridge few times from the handle.

Ha my comment below is confirmed ><

    • I use that. The cartridge falls off more often than not. The Schick Hydro 5 is much sturdier tbh.

Are we still allowed to neg a deal if the company is corrupt?

    • +11

No, you can only neg deals such as firearms and cry until they're banned on LeftBargain.

    • +8

Unfortunately not. Gillette can go to hell.

    • +12

The cynical side of me is like, are they going to come out in 3 months and claim the ad was a huge success (even though it's backfired massively) but in reality they've just been selling all their shit at 1/3 price to keep the sales up?

Honestly a company that's gone that far down the SJW rabbit hole to OK an ad like they did, I wouldn't put it past them to do that just to "prove a point" lol. Either way, it really doesn't matter to me they'll never get another $ from me and that's all i can control.

      • +5

I can't upvote this comment enough. However it is heartening for me to go to my local Woolies in Marrickville, which is leftwing-Socialist Central, and see all the Schick razors and Nivea shaving creams sold completely out, their shelf spaces barren and in disarray, while ALL of the Gillette products sit there awkwardly, overflowing from their spaces with fullness, pristine like they've never been touched, flying little yellow discount stickers like flags.
The Gillette Hindenburg disaster may well yet be the defining occurrence of 2019 in the western world, just like the rise of Jordan Peterson was the defining occurrence of 2018 in the western world.

        • -3

Gillette will still be going strong well after Jordan Whatshisname, and his thought, have been forgotten.

          • +4

@jackspratt: Maybe. Maybe not. The thing is, for modern day multi-national corporate types, the fiscal quarter is all that matters. If Gillette goes from the clear market leader to a distant third, in one quarter, there will be no way for them to spin it as anything other than a catastrophe for the forces of leftist Marxist-feminism.

  • +1

Pity Mach3 replacement blades aren’t being discounted atm.
I am hoping this boycott continues and they discount the Mach3 range so I can stock up.

  • Are these for sensitive skin or sensitive men?

  • Serious question - is there any way of identifying where the money goes for personal hygene products from Aldi?

I'm a nobody but if I can avoid buying P&G products ever again, I'd feel like I've done more than nothing.

  • +7

Thanks OP, personally I think their campaign calling out toxic masculinity is BRILLIANT.
Bought ten packets - five for me, five for my wife's son

  • Not on sale at my local store today. Price is $5.85

  • I swear I get about 3 months use per razor. This might last me about a year. Is this normal, How long does one razor last for you?

      Have you reached puberty?
