Love this game. Essentially a horror movie generator. Great fun, but significant issue with some of the missions (haunts) being very poorly written and significant issues with an obvious lack of playtesting. More so the case with the expansion. Poorly balanced, unclear rules, but somehow makes very memorable and fun game sessions on the whole.
yeah edition one had heaps of issues, u have to print the new instructions
edition 2 is supposed to have fixed that and the expansion is suppose to be good

Edition two is better, but there are still significant issues with balance and rules in a few of the haunts. This is problematic because you can't necessarily figure out the issues before you play the haunt through due to the deliberate mechanic where both sides don't know each other's rules. Most haunts are still great, but just be prepared that it's more of an experience game not to be taken too seriously. Despite this it's an extremely very memorable fun game.
Widows walk, the expansion though has much worse haunts.
