For home DIY use they'll do the same job just fine I believe.
I went with Ryobi because of how long they've committed to the same battery system, and the huge range of tools they have.
However just looking at this deal for the drills, it's a good price
good kit. great price. i bought few years back at similar price but unfortunately have struggled to find other tools to power off of these batteries. so now ive got a mix of dewalt and stanley. worth the bargain price? hmmmmmmmmmm
check the Porter Cable "20v max" stuff on amazon. different badging of the same skins. (yes 18v is the same as 20v max)

I managed to nab it from masters in 2016
still alive and kicking
well worth the $125me too! i just went ozbargain history searching for the deal as well. and to clarify my other post, i struggle to find other fatmax bargains :(
That kit wasn't brushless?
yeah i bought the master deal as well, still going strong here. Batteries don't seem to last as long but that is nothing new considering they only get about 1-2 hours of use each year.
yes the kit wasn't brushless
I bought this deal and soon cancelled the order. I have a 2015 Ozito combo kit that Bunnings had on clearance for $25, just before the PowerXchange batteries were introduced.
I currently use the kit for 10-20 minutes a year, so spending some money on better quality drill bits will be a better choice!
Can anyone comment on quality of Fatmax compared to similar Ryobi and Ozito tools?
