NOT a bluetooth keyboard, so your smart TV will have to be USB HID compliant.

I have this and the K400r (older version). This is a much nicer keyboard, with far superior build quality. But K400 is great for the price, and good for leaving lying around (ie. accidentally sitting on it, knocking it off the couch, etc). :)
I use K400r for media centre (Xbox One S), and I use this as my secondary keyboard for second machine (because I don't have a KVM switch). It's nice and light, so I can sit it on top of my work laptop's keyboard in front of me (I use an external keyboard for the work laptop) and use it to control my personal laptop which is off to the side. It also means I can use the trackpad if I don't want to switch my mouse over (I have an MX Master, which is attached to both laptops, but sometimes I can't be bothered switching between the two!).
(FWIW, I had a very poor experience using the trackpad on this MS one with my previous HTPC (running linux). The trackpad on the K400 is nothing to write home about, but the MS one was even worse! So I kept using the K400 for media centre duties, and now with the XB1s. Having said that, I have no problems using the trackpad with my W10 laptop…so could have just been a driver issue? I had absolutely no idea what I was doing with linux! aha)
Have been using it for a year now, the build quality is good for price but, the mouse pad is almost useless, and the lot of connection issues sometimes it would get annoying, you need to keep restarting the keyboard. After a year, i got used to it, but would i buy it again - No.
this one is more sturdy. but the price for the plus (on amazon) makes it better value i think
this was like $5 after cashback many years ago
I can vouch for this KB, the wireless keys function on boot/screen options on ALL systems (great if you always need to do some BIOS stuff a lot). However there is no FN lock and the touchpad is a bit meh along with the software (don't install the software as the default drivers work in Win 10, with all the media functions available). 8/10
I assume Bluetooth is better if your TV has it? Don't need a dongle.
The trackpad on this is annoying and easy to knock, and you can't disable it
I have this keyboard, use it for my home pc, and honestly, the F4 and sleep key together (default to sleep key) is very annoying, as I like to close my pc by pressing Alt+F4, but instead making my pc go to sleep every times (I always forget to press the FN key too)
Touchpad is very bad too.I never try K400, but I think should be better than this bad keyboard.
Anybody tried this and the logitech k400 plus? Which is better?
