Tried these recently and was pleasantly surprised. I would rate the crumb similar to KFC hot & spicy chicken… but on prawns! Half price now on at Coles.
It also seems the whole KB range is half price including:
Salt & Pepper Prawns
Tempura Prawns
Coconut Crumbed Prawns
Panko Crumb Squid
Salt & Pepper Squid
KB's Flaming Crumbed Prawns 300g Half Price $4.25 @ Coles

I love prawns but will only buy wild caught Australian prawns .
Apart from the flavour being completely different the amount of chemicals farmed seafood is treated with I find very concerning .
Sure buying Australian green prawns, de-shelling them, crumbing them and frying them yourself will always taste better. But if you don't have the time, skills or extra money for that then this is a great bargain.
You don't get it on the sea food front you don't buy anything but OZ no matter what price they are trying to clear non OZ .
If you like your health .I think the sodium and fat content is far more concerning than whatever chemical residue may or may not be contained in non-Australian seafood yet still pass food screening procedures.
I'm pretty sure NZ seafood is equally as 'healthy' as Australian seafood.
@j0hnd0e: (insert jv's comment about unreliable NZ labelling)
'300g' in Title please.

I would assume so.

Used to buy KB Salt 'n' Pepper Squid when it was $10 for 1kg. Now I believe it weighs less and double the price but are amongst the best on taste in my opinion.
