In April 1945, the Allies are making their final push in the European theater. A battle-hardened Army sergeant named Don 'Wardaddy' Collier (Brad Pitt), leading a Sherman tank and a five-man crew, undertakes a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Hopelessly outnumbered, outgunned and saddled with an inexperienced soldier (Logan Lerman) in their midst, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds as they move to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

    • Well, it's a movie.. I enjoyed it regardless

      • that wasn't a dig at people who enjoyed the movie, it was just fascinating to see a historian break down the inaccuracies in the movie, and a Sherman somehow winning against a Tiger which had the tactical advantage in every way.

        • Oh sorry man, I saved it to watch later after work anyway, sounds interesting!

      • any seckscenes?

  • Ordered one. Thanks OP.

Didn’t enjoy this movie. Found most of it to be boring and the last stand scene to be ridiculous

the protagonists were so unlikeable I actually sympathised with the German civilians that had to put up with them.
      Shia Leboof's best moments

Maybe it's best that i missed this deal.

    • So don't buy it then…

    • Good movie.

Not "watch twice" good, though, so no need to buy the blu-ray.

      • defo a watch once at least

      • I've seen it several times.. lol

Don't care what you guys say, this was a dam good bloke movie. Grab your mates, some grog, the LG CX9 from past deals, the soundbar deals, turn it up and hit play. Best two hours.

Agreed, it's not a doco. Cliche action flick that was an easy watch without being outstanding. People are overthinking it.

I think it was more of an anti-war movie. Seriously, who wants to get killed in the last few months of a war? Watching this movie makes me think back to the immortal words of Animal Mother - better you than me.

    • I too enjoyed this movie

I bought the 4k from Amazon US years ago (great Atmos soundtrack as well)

Is the bear jew in this?

I really liked this movie, except for the last act. You'll be pulling your hair out at the stupidity.

  • Guess I'm like the others here - really liked the movie, but the last bit just kind of lost me.

  • +2

i think the sequel 'fury two, electric boogaloo' is a little better

  • the storm trooper tracers in this movie are laughable

  • +3

I strongly recommend going for the 4K Blu-ray if you can - Sony transfers are always top knotch but this one is really reference material from both an Atmos and picture quality perspective
