if the upgrade to the PS5 version is going to give similar level of improvements you get from each iteration of this franchise (i.e. barely any), who really cares?
I preordered this a few weeks back to have on my ps5. I just need a fifa game for the console and the free upgrade was perfect.

Don't trust Amazon. I pre ordered SW Squadrons in June and I still haven't received my copy. My mate preordered 3 weeks ago and got it last Thursday. Seems complete bollocks to me.. I think if you read fine print it will be posted on release day, how long it takes to get to you depends on the gods. They will have a long delivery range and don't care unless it goes past that date.
If you order it earlier enough, Amazon will ship it on the day for Prime users. They failed once when I placed the order only two days before the release date. They refunded and gave $10 credit
Not all the time - i pre-orderd tony hawk 3 months before release and they send it almost a week later when others that ordered it after me got it release day - its hit and miss with amazon
Yep exactly… their system clearly does not work on FIFO… read my comments above I have the same issue with SW Squadrons… some got it 8 days earlier than me even though I order 3 months before them. I wont be trusting Amazon for any "must have" title for release day.

Upgraded cover art is an in-game micro transaction this year.
But it is like FUT where you'll receive an art pack and it will either contain the cover art to keep or to display for 3 games and then it disappears.
Will be $2 next year.
