Also HDMI input is limited to 50Hz on the Dell vs 85Hz on the LG. For multi-device users, it is probably better to go for the LG.

I'm happy with it. If you are seriously considering to buy any ultrawide monitor, this gonna be the best. Because of price. Also Dell's support is really good.

With specs like that, it probably is going to cost as much as a 38" UW.
Maybe it's just me, the bottom bezel seems thicker than the current version
damn that looks pretty good, apart from having the word predator in the bezel.
Integrated speakers saves me having to buy some. I'm gunna hold off to see how much these cost.
if you find a pair of speakers on the side of the road, chances are are better than any monitor speakers.

I ordered this from the last deal (21/09), they still haven't shipped it yet.
Wonder if it's worth calling up to see if I can get the difference refunded.
I had to call up Dell eBay and they checked the price on Dell's website. They marked it as a price-match and cancelled the eBay order. I had to put in a new order on the Dell AU website.
The guy told me stock is low for the monitor and it won't ship till mid Oct.
The previous model, AW3418DW did not have these sort of discounts very often except when this newer model was about to be available.
Recently it seems like there are just dumping this current model every now and then with lower prices.
Is 2020 really that bad for Dell?

- inferior to LG's espcially in color, refresh rate and no HDR (eventhough its trivial, its better to have than not have)
