  • Nice, I got the ChoTech one from a previous deal, has worked well as an easy 1 plug solution

  • Can I run 2 24" 1080p screens with this?

    • i have the same question

Looks like this is for Macbook Pro only….won't work for a pleb MS user

    • I doubt it if this would be that powerful

      • I'm going to give it a go. It does state 1x 5k or 2x 4k.

It runs dual USB-C so should be able to handle it.

        • Seems like a waste of 2 TB3 ports, this speed can be reached by just 1 TB3 port

Does anyone know a cable that can do USB-C to Display Port 1440p @ 144hz?

  • Not sure if this brand would have the same issue but I bought a similar adaptor for my MacBook previously. It interfered with the antenna on the rim of the MacBook. Everytime I use it, my wifi drops out of become unstable. I look it up online people say it is a common issue for this type of adapter that sits right next to the laptop. I ended up buying one that connects to the MacBook via a cable instead.

  • Is anyone using a usb-c dock for dual video that they can recommend?

  • I bought a cheap "Noovoo" brand USB-c hub, and when the CPU on my MBP is high, it starts to struggle, e.g. the Logitech Wireless mouse movement becomes jerky
If I switch to a wired mouse in the same Hub, the issue never occurs.
Is there a way to know whether this Hub will suffer the same problem under high CPU?

The wireless dongles are very susceptible to interference. Try running a short USB extension cable for the dongle and seeing if that fixes your issue. In 90% of cases with jerky movement this will fix it

      • thanks for the tip, will try it
