Found this in my local k-mart catalog, cheap phone locked to the Optus network, might be of value to someone. Enjoy :)

Awesome, needed another small backup dumbphone. I have the 1070 - small, great battery life, loud speakerphone.
Wonder what the unlock cost is?
Dont know but may is $80 credit or 6 months
nice one
Is Kmart good with keep stocks for promotional items?
can't go wrong with that price, thumbs up OP
specs shown here mean it could be a mono band GSM WITH ZERO 3G here in Australia

has anyone seen the box?
what radio bands does it support?
does it charge via micro USB?
$9.00 for a beach mobile phone would be nice.
thejew, it is a 2G phone. Good for beach, clubbing, travelling (where compatible).
Can be unlocked?
You will pay more than the phone to unlock it
I have one, I got it from Target during their 30 dollar recharge , and add in 1 dollar for the phone. Two in one offer i guess. Well the phone: calls, texts, has vibration, a loudspeaker. And that's about it really. It's an awesome phone for 1 dollar—although the screen is a bit weird but who cares the battery lasts for weeks. =D
None in Parramatta or Merrylands Kmart, but they do have the E1081T at $19.
Fake call function lets the phone automatically start ringing
Interesting feature!
conference call from Geneva?
Thanks OP
