Hi All,

Some david jones still have the 250gb Fifa world cup bundle in stock (discontinued), but i would call ahead to check.

This deal may not be for everyone, but for those who are still looking for the ever elusive ps3's that have firmware <=3.55, then this deal may tickle your fancy.
Pricing on this console is not the best, however its also not the worse as you're only paying an extra $100 over the standalone 160gb console and its also cheaper then the 320gb version, however you will be guaranteed to have a firmware lower then 3.55.

Note that, all 160gb and 320gb consoles sold now (model CECH-3xxx) will be above firmware 3.55 and there is no way to downgrade them.

    what does that mean to have firmware lower than 3.55? is that the one that is backwards compatible?

    Seriously, the 3.55 is overrated. I have a XBOX jtag, xbox soft mod and used to have a jailbroken ps3 which i recently reversed. Jailbreak on ps3 is overrated. Its hit and miss at best. I like the reliabiltiy to my jtag.

    you do realise that you will not be able to play the new games if yiu jailbreak your PS3 right?

    That's why I have 2 Xbox's (one Jtag and one drive modded) and 2 PS3's one with CFW and one legit for those games that are worth money like Uncharted 3 and Resistance 3 to name a couple.

    Edit- Probably better off to buy a cheaper 2nd hand model PS3 if your after CFW.

      Same but I went for a optical drive emulator (google wasabi360), my PS3 will get the same treatment once the optical emulators come out.
