With puns like that, it won't be long before you get your just desserts
Wicked pun!
You tell him Sister.
great way to put on weight - all of their desserts are addictive

By weight or number of ingredients?
Aldi's rice pudding is a rebrand of wicked sister.. same packaging.. same taste.. always on sale
What proof it is a rebrand? That's Aldi's strategy - copies successful products to con customers. They keep them just different enough to stop legal challenges.
Nah.. packaging is identical.. and taste is identical.. try yourself.. you will see..
That proves nothing. Aldi fans often say Aldi knockoffs are rebrands of the original, based only on their belief.
The internet is full of recipes to produce "identical" tasting products.
Aldi know how to convince customers their products are the "same", but different enough to convince courts they are not deceiving their customers.
Aldi's big brand knockoffs are a major part of their world wide strategy.
Not exactly the same. Just looked a few days ago. Check the ingredients.
Aldi's largest ingredient is sugar, wicked sister is rice. They might be similar, but the ingredients definitely differ.
@thargelios: Well.. you may be right.. but it tastes exactly the same to me… I must be an "aldi fanboy". … Brainwashed I guess.
@chookpoo: linkk
i have tried both, aldi is not as great.
Do they make the chocolate mousse anymore? That was a stand out in their line of products imo.
link?
Never had these before, are they nice? Are there any better/comparable brands?
they're pretty amazing, i was surprised to find that quality from the supermarket because i would have thought theyd come from restaurants
Can't find the Tiramisu in my local Woolies these days. Does anyone have a recommendation on good desserts in supermarkets apart from Tiramisu and Rice Pudding?
We get these. You only need a small serve with some cream. We heat up the slices in the microwave.

Thanks. Will try this :)
Would be interested to see what you think :). You can get them on special for $6 every few months.
@try2bhelpful: I tried this yesterday. I must say it's really good. I have always wondered if there are any good alternatives for the Choc Lava Cake, and this is pretty close. Thanks for your suggestion. I am thinking of trying it with some bananas and ice cream!!!
@interstellar: I’d be going the other way with some salted caramel and vanilla ice cream :). We normally have it with the Paul’s “dollop” cream, which I would, also, recommend.
What we like it you can just cut off a small slice and leave the rest still frozen.
Glad you like it.
Despite the sugar content (13.7g per 100g), I like the taste of this rice pudding. Thanks for the post, I always pick a couple up at this price.
(profanity) yum!!
whyy
"The best" is a pretty big call. I guess the proof is in the pudding
