Disagree. It’s great quality especially for a $200 chair.
Disagree, very comfortable foam on the bottom, the back lumbar is plastic so I can see how skinny people might be a bit inconvenienced. The build quality is great, base is solid, wheels are quiet and smooth, armrests are padded.
But for $200, it's far better than any other chair in that price range. Especially with the 10 year warranty.

I'm 183cms, but long legs like my mate who is 190cms
My concern is the lumber support, bad lower back so too risky to buy unfortunately with what I read above :/

The benefit of Officeworks is you can sit on the chair and find out hahaha

I have the cascade and the maximum height is a fair bit below what the officeworks chair does according to the spec.
I'm only getting ~500mm but the officeworks gets up to 570mm according to the spec.
If that doesn't bother you then I can recommend the cascade as its good quality for the price, but personally I ended up using it at a different desk (not mine) as I really want a higher chair.
BTW there are a disturbing amount of QA complaints in the officeworks reviews

If you haven't bought it, don't waste your money. I bought one in May and the seating part went flat within weeks, and then the whole chair become wobble. It's even worse than another cheap chair we own for 10 years from Fantastic furniture.

Just got mine. Great chair and pretty comfortable. Just one question is it normal for the chair to tilt back the slightest bit even tho the tilt lever is locked? Thanks.
One lever on the chair is for changing the height of the seat.. do you know what the other one is for? It says changing the angle of the back but I don't think back adjustment is available in Cascade chair.

Mine went on pretty easy, just some of the screws are not perfectly aligned. Have you checked if they are the right sides? (I almost put mine on the opposite sides)
It was the right side. For some reason the plastic on the handle side aligned properly on one of the screws. Had to force it in.

Just to clarify, this is for the first batch of pre-orders. So if your invoice says Cascade 2 your order will be shipped next week. If your invoice says Cascade 3 your order is still on track for November delivery.

Anyone tried the Kal Office Chair, they say it has a high mesh back, but the specs say it's smaller than the Cascade?
Not sure whether that is a typo or not. Would also be good to know whether the Lumbar support is padded or plastic.
