Good deal for the Arctis Pro Wired, however…

I own these, and think you're better off getting proper headphones + separate mic, than these or gaming headsets in general.

      Beeeecause..

    • What would be a good separate mic? Desktop mics are annoying so open to ideas!

      • been looking at this one

Seems like it has good reviews compared to the YETI

      • Google boompro and modmic. I'm not necessarily saying get those specific brands, but get one of that style.

      • With mics you can either go USB or full XLR. XLR mics are more expensive as you need an audio mixer or audio interface, but has better overall sound quality and more control over audio levels. USB mics are more user friendly, but you’ll need a digital audio mixer like Voicemeeter Banana.

For low end USB: Samson Meteor
For higher end USB: AudioTechnica AT2020 USB

It’s also a good idea to get a microphone boom arm, pop filter, and shock mount if you want to improve audio quality.

    • Of course, but it would be twice the price, if not more.

These are a great all-in-one solution.

I have the Arctis 7 and from the looks of the design, these are similar so a word of warning. These headphones aren't secure unless you're sitting still (no walking around home doing chores, on skype/team/zoom calls), the pads are thin and the inside touches your ear which becomes painful after long listening sessions. I find them uncomfortable to wear and would not buy again.

  • Hey guys

Tried to order from Kogan for the pro wireless 2 months ago - when the deadline hit they said Sorry cant ship!
and pushed the date back another 2 months.

Dont expect anything to come anytime soon - and even then, i wouldnt expect it to arrive with kogan at all.

Might have just been me. but i wasnt dropping chump change at 470$ or so
