  I can confirm that this model works as an external storage drive on a jailbroken Nintendo Switch and, compared to some SSDs, it's a power sipper at <2W when under sustained read load.

  Used this as a drive backup (1tb) when travelling was still a thing. Every night I'd back up to this with no problems.

  Purchased the 1TB for $250 a few years ago so take what you will with the price.
