WARRANTY/SUPPORT4

Limited 5-year warranty with free technical support

  1. Based on “out-of-box performance” using a PCIe 3.0 motherboard. Speed may vary due to host hardware, software, and usage. IOMETER Random 4k Random Read/Write is based on 8GB partition.

  2. Some of the listed capacity on a Flash storage device is used for formatting and other functions and thus is not available for data storage. As such, the actual available capacity for data storage is less than what is listed on the product. For more information go to Kingston's Flash Memory Guide.

  3. Total Bytes Written (TBW) is derived from the JEDEC Workload (JESD219A)

  4. Limited warranty based on 5 years or “Percentage Used” which can be found using the Kingston SSD Manager (kingston.com/ssdmanager). For NVMe SSDs, a new unused product will show a Percentage Used value of 0, whereas a product that reaches its warranty limit will show a Percentage Used value of greater than or equal to one hundred (100). See kingston.com/wa for details.

this is pretty much normal price, e.g. $149 delivered from Centrecom

    • I feel that. But I needed one right now so I'm happy.

well you know, this brings us back to the age old question, is RRP (or in this case normal pricing) a bargain?

  • +2

I won’t downvote… but it’s not really a bargain. This and most similar 1TB NVME are this price or lower. $130 maybe would be a bargain.
Aside from the mentioned CentreCom I can have it next day from amazon for $159

Heard that kingston a2000 stopped using die directly from Micron. Is that true?

    • Come on man, how am I supposed to know if its true you heard that or not… :P

$137 at shopping express (still cheaper with delivery to Melbourne, YMMV)

maybe not even the cheapest right this instant either.

Don’t advertise this then if it’s not a deal

Sigh, I think I'm getting pranked… Literally more staff in the store than customers, 4 vs 2, still can't possibly get my drive off the shelf within the next hour though… Just can't do it…

    • And they ship quick.

    • Literally I read this and thought that of that bulk deal as well. I appreciate the Op's sentiment and $150 is a good price compared to say, a few months ago, but as at 19/9/2020, there's plenty of options at that price point and some which are materially cheaper.

Like all the hot deals you post?

    • This is a place where you post deals, not everyday normal prices.

Unless of course it has NVidia, Nintendo or PlayStation as part of the title…

To be fair, even though I'm not getting mine till tomorrow now, no one in my house has had anything delivered from anywhere in less than a week since Covid-19. And for those people who specifically mention "next day delivery", that would be Tuesday at the earliest?

  • Is this site called OzNotABargain now?

  • Same price across multiple retailers at the moment. Not a deal
