[eBay Plus] AOC U2790VQ 27" IPS 5ms 4K UHD Monitor $404.10 Delivered @ ninja.buy via eBay

Original Coupon Deal
Seems the lowest price of AOC's U2790VQ (Titan Gear Sydney was selling it at $389 but with extra $15 delivery)
Not the cheapest 27" AOC 4K monitor but might be good this time for those who really want to upgrade to 4K but missed the $320 4K Dell S2721Q
IPS + 10bit + 4K UHD + 350 nits, 5ms gtg response seems not that good for gaming but generally worth the price

Good starting point, but these will drop to $300-$330 soon enough.

    Great entry level 4k60 IPS.

in fact AOC's 27" 4K has dropped down to $310 early 2020 for a few days. The cheapest 4K IPS is $330 now but 24" which is Acer EK241QK BUT 4K on 23.8" can be really annoying

      • It's also an ancient panel, and not really worth looking at. Was a different brand using the same 27" panel that dropped to $310-$330, ie. the Philips.

If you want to get technical there's an AOC 27" 4k IPS model that's been going for $180-200 USD in America on sale, or $270 AUD inc GST.

When I priced $300-$330, I was specifically referring to this model. All three 27" IPS models I'm referring to here use a Panda panel.

        • What other brands should I be looking out for? I missed out on this and dells one :(.

@Reviveme: I don't know much about gaming monitors.
But for IPS panels, I would say:
First tier is BenQ and Eizo
Second tier is Dell and LG
The rest such as AOC, Lenovo, Samsung and Philips are third tier.

            • @NothingButPoor: this might be true. But Samsung and Lenovo used LG's panels sometimes so it's not 100% guaranteed

          • @Reviveme: Samsung have a 28" PLS/IPS panel that should get more affordable, and AOC, Phillips and Samsung all have a model.

Away from that, there's also an LG product, but that might take a while to drop in price. Assuming you can wait, I'd be looking for deals in November to January.

Everyone missed S2721Q… But I need a 4K IPS that can pivot

  • It may be 10b panel but I can't get my computer to output 10b to it

  • This is an excellent monitor for work. I got one late last year with a $50 rebate. Never skipped a beat. I use it at QHD resolution.
Improved my productivity outright. My previous FHD is just a side-kick now.
