      Assuming you know a little bit about rums, can you recommend something I can sip on straight? The zacapa 23? Something else? Price guide $50-100.

      I'm a single malt whisky man, but I try my hand at all the dark arts.

          Yep, i like the Zacapa 23 for straight. I also had some Kirk & Sweeney recently that was very nice, and i believe the 12yr comes in under the $100 mark.The aged Appleton's are nice too.

            @Arsenal: Yes the K&S is good. Appleton I havent tried their better stuff as the basic is turd.

              @justtoreply: Yeah i was surprised to find the aged Appleton's were quite good as i was similarly unimpressed when the standard one got popular in bars 10+ years back.

          I can stretch the budget of the centanario is considerably better, or if tasting side by side against the 23 would provide a valuable comparison.

          Or do you think that my spirits cabinet would be better looking if it had
