          Long dead members of my extended family said alcohol was a Sin, that it was the Devil himself tempting the weak…

          They were members of The Temperance Movement, campaigning against alcohol.

          "Temperance proponents saw the alcohol problem as the most crucial problem of Western civilization."

          My elders thought everything was a sin!
          It was from the intolerant religious beliefs of their isolated community, they left long ago.

          I learnt not to believe them😉
          And enjoy "sin" & a drink - in moderation.

              Old members of my family campaigning against Sin, were intolerant, uncaring a..holes!!

              They died alone, very bitter people.
              I was the only person at their funerals. They had no friends!!

              Should have had a wee dram & maybe enjoyed life!

              Visited their remote island they left long ago. No one remembered the family name. Only mention was almost hidden at museum - how bad they were, for selling the local castle to a Sassenach! The shame😒

              I'd rather be a sinner😄
              Learnt early in life - they have a lot more fun!

      Agree. For years referred to Jameson as "gargling grade" whiskey. ie minimum standard I regularly drink, at a good price.

      Good in an Irish Coffee! Enjoying one now☕

      It's sad but this is what needs to be done to stop scalpers and resellers and people abusing deals. More shops should move to the 1 item per order practice.

        I think you only get free shipping with Prime, so you'll need Prime on each account.

        Amazon could stop it (or at least slow it down) if they wanted to stop it but for mass-produced items like these alcohol deals, they are not really worth implementing features or using tools to stop it. In the end it comes down to how much the corperation want to keep their business clean and how much resources they want to put it to keep it fair.

        They would have all the analytics in the world and could ban/stop people on using same/similar address, same/similar area or same/similar parcel locker, same credit card or using the same issuer of psychical/virtual credit cards, same name, order history, and last implementing a captcha would stop a lot of funky auto checkout bot business.

      There is note section when you click on 'edit' order button. There you can insert note to delivery man e.g. Do not deliver on Monday, Wednesday, or weekend, or your absent days etc. but most of times they deliver earlier than the delivery day on after pay order page.

      No, you can't. Even you put it in a note for delivery. They will process it as normal, and if no one home, the delivery man will take it back to the Delivery Station as this is alcohol (age verification will be required)

    I know it's a cheap Scotch but if you mix anyway, Grants 700ml is $39.95 on Amazon right now once you add the coupon and go to checkout. Not even Dan's you'll get that cheap these days.
