My tips:

  • Wait till it tracks before you pick up the order. You can cancel if it doesn't track.
  • Based on previous feedback, pick up orders can only be placed at some BWS stores during opening hours.

This promotion is open to members that receive an invitation email directly from Cashrewards and successfully activate the bonus offer using the Cashrewards account that corresponds to the email address that received the invitation (“Eligible Entrants”). To qualify for the $5 bonus, Eligible Entrants must first activate the offer, then make a purchase online at BWS via a Cashrewards platform on 25/01/2025 between 12:00 AM AEDT and 11:59 PM AEDT (“Promotional Period”) with a minimum spend of $50 (incl. GST) (“Qualifying Purchase”). A Qualifying Purchase excludes any transaction that is ineligible for cashback as set out in the BWS store special terms. Bonus will be approved in the Eligible Entrant’s Cashrewards account within 7 days of the associated Qualifying Purchase being approved. Cashrewards Terms of Use apply to the use of the Cashrewards platform and any associated purchase. Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account and is over and above the advertised store cashback rates which still apply to the transaction. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses. Fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Cashback is ineligible on the following:

  • Champagne, Penfolds, non-alcoholic products (sparkling wine & non-alcoholic beer are eligible).
  • Purchases using coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards.
  • Orders paid partially or in full with Everyday Rewards dollars.
  • Purchase of gift cards or use of gift cards for full or partial payment.
  • Purchases using coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards.
  • Purchases via the merchant's mobile app.
  • Purchase that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
  • GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
  • Fraudulent transactions.
  • Purchases using any type of discount which lowers price advertised on the Merchant site, including but not limited to employee discounts, student discounts and price-matching.

        I didn't pick up an order for 5 months…it tracked and was still there. Liquorland on the other hand cancel within about a week.

          Amazing. Cashback is usually paid in about 3-4 months. You would have probably received cashback before picking up the order.

      BWS cashback includes GST unless it has changed recently.
      Best value spend would be $108.70 to get $25 cap.

    Used to like the offers with certain credit cards at times was 45% off
    Seems deals not as good as before and many reward sites seem like a gamble. I believe the hit rate is lower now as people are weary

        Based on this comment and my past orders, cashback includes GST (with $25 cap). $108.70 would be the max amount for $25 cap.

      Same as my experience both with CR and SB. Both orders were ready for pick up before tracking emails came through. Both orders tracking email came through within 15 mins.

    Jim Beam 1L for $67 and Bundaberg Red Rum for $47 are similar prices to DM. Together they just cover the amount to maximise cashback.

          I just checked comments here and previous BWS/Cashrewards posts. They seem to have tracked within about half an hour.
          I had waited longer for BWS tracking with ShopBack in the past.
          It seems Cashrewards track quickly.
          Perhaps cancel and try again.

          I was able to add 2 X Johnnie Walker for pick up or delivery at the BWS in Darwin. I didn't complete the order so not sure if it will go through.
          (I've seen the exclusion with Coles Liquor.)

            @trixieb: I mean it tracked that's not the issue, the question however if they will pay up in 120 days, or if they pull the "promotional offers are not available in the NT", even though technically this isn't an NT based store promotion.

        I already picked up the second one as it tracked properly (I thought ) and when I rechecked it on the full site later I saw it reverted to $0 for the second order…..

    My order tracked cash back but they called me to say they don’t have one of the beer cases in stock, and asked me to select another.
    I guess picking another will cancel my cashback, and then there’s no point keeping the order. What do you guys think?

      Do you need beer? If so, then I'd collect it and hope the cashback succeeds. If you don't need beer then why did you buy beer?

      BWS may reject cashback as it's in their terms. I would cancel the order and not risk it.
