Ridge Ryder Headlamp $2.99 (in Store or Free C&C) @ Supercheap Auto

90

Clearance item, so at random stores. Check your local store for stock. Maybe handy to keep in car for breakdown for hands free lighting. Similar ones at Bunnings, but about a $1 or $2 more.

Note. Might be worth checking it works in car before leaving store. Some mixed reviews with failures. Other reviews positive. $3 buck not bad I think.

I have one. I wouldn’t buy again even if it’s only 3 bucks. It’s bulky, quality is crap and my iphone’s flashlight is brighter than this

    • Fair enough. I don't have one, so just posted on price point. Some reviews on site said ok. Am surprised they are no brighter than your phones torch. 7 LEDs, but probably low watts. No lumen output in specs. As I said in post I thought if you want hands free light it might be good. Holding a torch depending on situation might be a pain in some situations.

    • I second this, I got one a few months ago and planned to used it a few weeks ago. I found it was missing one of the springs for the negative terminal, out of the box. Sad really, that they are willing to sell something that is of such poor quality.

  • plus supercheap are total sh!te at after sales support…if you ever email them you get no reply.

    • Can't you call them or store.

      • I prefer things in writing. Why offer an email option for contact if they never respond?

        • They should respond to emails within 24hrs. Poor service if they cant even do that. Calls are good if you want action, but I know some can't even manage that.

          • @Melb69: 5 days ago I wrote to them…typical of this mob!

Unless they have improved these in recent years, as mentioned above, they’re not worth $3.

I was given 2 of them when a relative left the country. The tint is bad on both of them and the build quality is low with poor quality threads.

  • Bought it the other day but didn't post it due to mixed product reviews from last post. If you sign up SCA membership for $5 you get instant $10 credit to spend upon verification process. Those willing to give it a go can consider getting this product as good as free or use on any product from there. Further you can stack it with cashbacks at CR or SB.
