Similar performance to 10900k only 100mhz less speed. Once overclocked they're identical.
Very cheap, normally for $750 and 10900k $900

Nice price, Also get Avengers game with it as well.
no game
Clearly shows the 10850k on the eligibility list for the game.
No marvel game.. Shopping express / Futu, not among the retailers eligible for the promotion..
Bought a cpu last week from them..
Registered myself on intel's software promotion
Shoppingexpress / Futu is NOT amongst the retailers eligible for the promotion…

I7? I9?
Thanks dude, fixed.
this vs r9 3900x?
This. Especially for gaming
Depends what you are using your computer for? Gaming? Workstation? Both?
all around
lol - be more specific - what workstation programs do you use? Do you do 3d rendering/video editing?
Bear in mind AMD's Zen 3 (4000 series) cpus will be announced on October 8th.
Ryzen 4000 versions… there's a reason why this is tanking in price.
Great price for an excellent gaming cpu
No marvel game.. Shopping express / Futu, not among the retailers eligible for the promotion..
holy shit, that is so cheap. i bought my 10700kf for 590. i would've bought this easily if it was at that price. how is stock level?
and the new marvel's avengers game is $90 on steam…
No game, have a look at my post which including game
I'm not sure the inclusion of a game is going to swing a decision between a 10850K and a 10400F…
Bloody tempting price. To wait for Zen 3 or not to wait, that is the question….
This seems like such a good price. I’d only be concerned about if the z490s PCIE 3.0 might prevent getting the full potential from Microsoft’s Direct Storage and Nvidias RTX IO. They’re still a ways away from common use, but I’d guess you’d buy this either for future proofing or immediate top performance. While it fulfils the latter, I’m not sure how future proof it is for the former.
My z490 has pcie 4.0…
Mmm but it’s “dormant” until 11th series. This is 10th series meaning pcie 4.0 won’t work
So is this worth getting for on and off gaming and running online business with multiple monitors, really weighing it between just an i5 might do it for me but then this has so much potential
I’d go for i5 if not a serious/competitive gamer and online business tasks. i5 10600K or even 8600k are powerful.
Damn good price, and pretty much the same performance as the 10900k
