Seriously it's alphabet pieces in a banana shaped zip bag (and maybe an instructions leaf?) for $18

      Thats just Bananas

        Damnit! nice one

It's a very good game though

Highly addictive and much faster pace than Scrabble. Someone in my family got it for Christmas and we spent most of the summer holidays playing it.

    • I recall seeing knock-offs on eBay for cheap

      • +1

Yeah I got a knock off version and a friend has the real one. Whilst the knock off does the job, the real version has a nicer feel to it.

    • It's just "Take-Two" in a fancy pack. Scrabble pieces work just as well.

    Bananaramagrams from the 80s?

Take a punt. Hours of fun to be had from this game!!

  • R U OK Ozb?

    • no negs today.

Price and exploitation aside, also lower quality tiles after the creators selling the rights. This is the best game ever made, this is to Scrabble what Mean Bean Machine was to Tetris (calm down, we're not having this discussion today, lol). If you haven't played this, you should give it a go. It has been my favourite game for like 10(??) years now. It's like Scrabble but no waiting for a turn and the better you play the more pressure you can dump on your opponents, and they really refined tile/letter mix so it always works (you can't just play it with a Scrabble tile set). Very fast, very fun.

      exploitation?

  • +1

    I love this game.
I'm almost disappointed to have it because now there's no reason to buy it again lol

Just lose a tile from your current set and you're good to go! Haha, I'm amazed I haven't lost one despite the number of blurry parties my set travelled to in years past.

  • I remember this from Primary School haha.

    Thx op. Got one.

    • Hey bleachy, did it come up as $18 for you? I am getting $20.89 as my price. Thanks

      • +1

Scroll down to "New (21) from $18" click it then select the $18 option

        • Cheers mate, ordered :)

  • Great game. If you like scrabble but hate waiting for the other person to take their turn, this is perfect. This and Monopoly Deal have both become my favourite 2 (or more) person games.

  • Will this one be playable in another language (e.g. spanish) as long as the alphabet is the same? Or maybe the amount/distribution of letters in this one only fits the english language?

I've tried with Indonesian and it just doesn't work. For example, the z and X are almost non existent in Bahasa, and E is far less common than in English.

    Comments are too good.
Probably the first time I’ve purchased something that hasn’t been at it’s ALL TIME LOW

  • It's saying $20.89 for me, anyone else having this issue? Cheers

    • Yeah price went up.
It said 3 left with more to come when I purchased at $18. I’m assuming they ran out at that price

      • Cool thanks for the prompt reply, I just wasn't fast enough :)

        • I've updated the deal with a direct link to Amazon's Listing.

Temporarily out of stock, but can still place an order.

  • +1

Why not use normal scrabble pieces?

    • You don't get the banana bag. This game is excellent, worth it at the normal price.

  • +1

I didn't realise how bad my ability to spell was until I played this game.

I just added this to cart and went to pay (at $18) but then remembered shopback. Removed item from cart, activated shopback, and clicked through to find it at $20.89

I then went incognito, signed in without ShopBack to find the price back at $18… Is this a thing? Is Shopback causing price gouging?

    • considering there is no cashback for toys for bother SB and CR, i think its just the price went up for up at the time you did that and eventually out of stock for now

      • Except that when i shut down shopback, it went back down to $18 and i purchased.

  • Thanks OP just ordered.

Came in at $18 for me :)

  • Has anyone received their order yet? I'm still waiting for mine to be shipped. I ordered on 10 Sep, 17:16.
