Looks like hardly any stores left in Melbourne. Most in VIC are out in woop woop.

    • yeah, seems like in-store only as well, also check out Mitre10, they have the same catalogue, I didn’t know they’re from the same company.

        https://www.mitre10.com.au/catalog/product/view/id/94065/s/e…

They have this on offer - reckon it's an OK deal?

        • Also considering this bundle. Doorbell itself is $200-$250.

Anyone know if this can act as a camera itself? Ie someone walks in the line of view of the camera and have it alert me without them having to press the button.

          • @rakkihizoku: Looks like it based on the description on the site:

See visitors in sharp detail as they approach your door.

          • @rakkihizoku: It does have motion detection and can view the camera feed anytime.

        • You can get the 2 camera kit for 387 on ebay and the doorbell for around 217 with the current ebay code.

So if you don't need the door sensor it comes to 604.24.

The door sensor is around $40-50 on amazon.

Seems pretty close to the recent supercheap auto deal - nice that it includes the entry sensor. Good find!

Any reviews for previous purchasers of this system?

    • I don't have the entry sensor. Picked up a 4 pack from GG for $647.

Have had it for 3 weeks. So far so good. Day images/ video and audio are very clear.
Night vision is susceptible to outdoor lighting i.e. street lights / front house lights. Very very good in total dark areas though.
So far 1502 motions recorded ( mine is set to human only, however has picked up a cat twice a dog twice and a birds arse as a human face) 2.35/16gb used.
      Notifications are quite quick.
Geofencing on the app could be better, alarm went off couple times.

Honestly for the money and the convenience even at retail it's a bargain.

    • I bought these from the super cheap deal. As above me stated the picture clarity is good. You have to play around with the motion detection which is pretty easy. I like on a rode with buses and they sometimes set it off. I have caught some shady people walk up my drive way whilst having it and I just use the app to say "you all good mate" and they get spooked easy enough.

    • I've got a 2C cam paired with a wireless doorbell cam. Picture quality is really good on the 2C, can make out faces etc easily. Night vision is decent, and the LED spotlight helps.

The motion detection was pretty sensitive at first but a bit of trial and error with the detection zones fixed it. Very few false positives these days and it hasn't missed anything (that I'm aware of).

The camera has 53% battery left after about 3 months of use with multiple detections each day.

The app works well. Notifications are great. The whole thing was simple to setup and use.

Overall it's a really good system and I'm keen to add more cameras.

  • How do I check which stores have it?

  • Sold out online but they say check your local store with no online inventory check option. No wonder they are making themselves obsolete as they can't afford gold logie tradies endorsements and a computer system at the same time..

  • Im not that impressed with mine. 1 cam doesn't pick anything up until your right next to it. Then the delay is enough to miss someone come to the door.

Have you set the sensitivity and activity zones?
Apologies if it's a silly question but lighting and positioning has an affect and needs to be "tuned" for the area.
There is a test function in the app. If its still failing then I'd say it warrants a replacement.

      • Yes done all that. Even contacted eufy and they gave me a workaround which did work for a short time and then went back to being crap.

I take it and the correspondence from eufy and plonk the camera on the shops counter and ask for a replacement.

        • I have the exact same issue. Mine doesn't work well at night time. I have to jump around, up down, wave my hands and it might alert me..no alarm, even though it's set to Alarm…just notification. Very annoying. I reset the camera, reset the base, worked for the first day or so and then stopped..I can't be bothered so i've just left it. I've raised it with eufy and they told me to go back to JB and replace it..but that's abit hard at the moment.

          • @swifty7: I sent them an email so will wait to see what they say

    • Is yours outdoor ? One of mine when put outdoor (under roof eaves) misbehaved.
      Put it indoor, works fine.

      • Yes it is. Might see if that works

  • Anyone seen the Pro range offered in Aust?

    • is that the 2k Pro version? if so according to some reviews their picture quality isn’t any better than their 1080p counterparts, you might as well get that for better value. They have the Cam 2 (not these 2C) 4 packs with Entry sensor bundle at Bunnings for $999, best value currently with no promotion around.

  • I rang a few stores in my area but none of them has stock available. They also can't order for us because no stock online means their warehouse doesn't have any available.

The good guys commercial is selling the set of home base and 4 cameras (no door sensor) for $579 + $8 delivery - most stores in NSW/ACT don't seem to have stock.
