it's because we have not moved to next stage of app world where one app includes heaps of mini apps in it, with that trend, lot of people in China can enjoy everything without relying on GMS or AppStore, there are pros and cons though. same as 5G, when USA loses the race of that backbone piece of tech, they are not happy hence the bullying.
