Found this on Newegg Australia, cheapest ultrawide I could find that had a high refresh rate and low response time. Currently listed at $651.47 delivered.

    This is an ultrawide, so its nearly the same height as a 24inch monitor.
    I have a 29" ultrawide and at 1080p everything is crisp

      Exactly - if you're going to critique a monitor for being 1080p, you have to consider the height/vertical dimension of the screen, not the 'corner to corner' measurement.

      I have a 34" ultrawide at 1080uw. Pixel density is 3.6 roentgen (not great, not terrible).

      Then again when you pay ~$400 for a LG IPS 2560x1080p 75hz its a lot of screen for the money.

    You don't know what you are talking about. The DPI is the same found at 24inch@1080p.

    DPI is more important than resolution

  I was watching a 4k monitor on NewEgg, awesome price but delivery was $241 which took it back to what I'd pay locally
