    Not a bargain I guess.

or pay $20 extra for buying from Lego official website.

  • Is Zavvi legit. $7.95 postage doesn't seem right.

    • They're fine and postage is free(Where do you get $7.95?)

    • +1

Yes they are a UK company and belongs to the same group as IWOOT.

So those LEGOs will get shipped from UK - last one I bought took about 2 weeks to come to melb

        Lego not Legos :p

    • you don't need to.

      • it did for me automatically

        • I think the price is GST inclusive. I bought one before and no GST was added at checkout. The price is final.

    • https://i.imgur.com/8jVTISj.png GST included. In cart: $179.99

  • Just finished building this last night.

  • Bought. Cheers!

  • What are Zavvi like for packaging? Anyone received Lego with no issues?

    • The worst. They skimp on the packaging. They will put fragile items in a satchel without protection. I purchased a DVD box set and all the corners were crushed badly. Took 4 months to get a refund. Never again.

  • I have had a very poor experience with Zavvi recently - the object was broken and the returns process was [and has been] horrific.

In saying that, this is perhaps expected when you're dealing with a UK company shipping to Australia.

    • Hmm I wonder how they compare to IWOOT. I got the Liebherr from IWOOT and it was in perfect condition. Bought the Sian from Zavvi and it should arrive in the next few weeks, fingers crossed.

      • Bought 3 items from IWOOT so far. 2 came in perfect conditions. 1 came in with damaged box and packaging. Customer service was good and I will buy it from them again

  • This is 10% off the lego site price (where it's currently also in stock).

I'd buy from lego, get vip points and claim on 28 degrees (long term view I suppose 28 degrees does nothing as eventually you'll hit the $20k payout cap)

    • I didn't realise there was a lifetime cap, hmm. I knew of the yearly one. I've been claiming back on it for a few years and probably only made back $5K.

Funnily enough I did the exact same thing you mentioned (bought from Lego couple of weeks ago, just claimed the $20 difference)

  • This is a bloody ancient set by now (first released in August, 2017). I'm amazed they have a merchantable amount of stock to sell.

    • +1

A little research shows there is a flood of em in the UK that they are trying to sell just below $150 .

  • @Rep: can you up the discount to 20%? This is the standard minimum discount on lego

  • More authentic looking than the wooden Boris bus I guess.

  • Code already expired last night…hope it's a bigger discount next time!
