  • Just tried it on a set of motorcycle tyres and it says it worked, but I don't see a discount at the checkout.

Also, what's with $30/tyre for shipping? Kind of kills the deal for motorcycle tyres.

    • used to be free ship in the past (for some brands if not all) but I guess they try to make the tyre looks $10 -$15 cheaper than other sites to bait you in.

      • their "Mates Rates" baiting is really f****ing annoying.

    • You need to choose an installer and input the code after then it should discount and give free del

      • For motorcycle tyres, it says I need to contact them to choose an installer … live chat isn't available. No phone support either. Still waiting for an update to my support ticket 8 hours later.

Did a comparison of the tyres I need to buy with Donnellans and Tyroola (fitted plus alignment).

    Donallans : $822
    Tyroola: $825

So for my purpose, no discount!

  • Tempting as I need 2 x new P-zeros, but really not driving anywhere with lockdowns and working from home… but I hate missing potential bargains. Conflicted.

Checkout facebook marketplace. I remember seeing someone selling them. They weren't the tyres I needed, so I didn't pursue it, but worth a look if you're in the market.

Cost more than elsewhere and charge extra for fitting. Pass.

  • General tyre chat - tossing up between Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 2 and Continental Ultracontact UC6 - both roughly the same price ~110 mark per tyre.

Anyone have any experience/can provide any guidance? For a regular Mazda 3 hatch - general driving (50/50 freeway/city).

    • Probably want to give us the tyre size……That changes dependant on the year of your 3 and the model !!!!

      • Sorry it's 205 60r16 - only need 2 tyres

Buy Michelin Primacy 4 or Bridgestone Serenity Plus. They'd be my pick, and I've experimented with a lot of tyres.

  • I just bought some tyres off Tyroola 2 weeks ago or whenever the afterpay sale was. Very good experience! Michelin Primacy 3 ST's. Got the tyres at the cheapest rate I'd seen them (same price as Tempe) and picked someone near my place to get them fitted. They were delivered there in 1 day which was pretty good. The price was really good, everything happened quickly and smoothly, will definitely use again.

  • free mobile pirelli fitting on some tyres the site says

    • mobile fitters had a "call out" fee from what I saw

  • I found the pricing very glitchy, you have to add to cart and click continue browsing then go to cart to add the Discount code then the "free shipping" which had a delivery charge of $70 then becomes free very confusing and doesn't work with the buy 4 and get one free it just all breaks the pricing lol

    • I found the pricing very glitchy

Let us know if you find a good glitch.
