It's a 2GHz Celeron, paired with Windows Vista. Hmm. Did I smell performance?
As of writing DVD, according to specification:
OPTICAL DRIVE: DVD Supermulti Dual/Double Layer(DVDRRW,DVDR(DL)DVD-RAM)
Read: CD-ROM(24x), DVD-ROM(8x) Write: CD-R 24x, CD-RW 4x
It does look like a combo drive although I've never seen a combo drive that spells out supermulti, dual layer, etc. I think it is a good spare PC.
what happened to your other username ozstock ??? .. did you deliberately mistyped www.zozstock.com.au to avoid detection??
sneaky spammer !!!
Dear elcheapo,
What are you talking about?
This is a bargain or not? Looks more important?
I am a sneaky spammer? Scotty knows who I am. He even can phone me.
Scooty, I would like you to phone me to discuss this matter.
good luck, elcheapo,
good luck scotty
good luck ozbargain
Thank you
You know what I'm talking about ;p
oh.. say hello then to your other clones.. leonhaha (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/8309/submitted) and floxyz (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/6271/submitted)..
@mysmartguy — since OzStock now has a representative now may me suggest letting him post the deal instead?
@elcheapo — please judge by the actual deal rather than the shop.
elcheapo, Is there anything I can help you with?? Clones?? for what??
you are really funny … lol
This site & that store are now looking like a bloody scam. Back to StaticIce & AusPrices I go… ;(
Not clear if it can write DVDs… But still an excellent price! Will make a good second computer at home for internet browsing etc. A real competitor for those ASUS Eee PCs if you do not need the mobility. Or can be a good first computer for grand parents ;)
