    Great price.

As Occas noted in the original thread you could also go to the 49" for $1500 odd.

    • Haha, yes… yes I did!

    • it was $1200 pricing error a year ago too (double discount) but $1500 is still a good price

  • Does 60hz is fine for normal use?

    • Yes.

    • I’d say so. If you’ve got a beefy GPU then you’ll be using vsync to stop tearing as I don’t see in the stats above that it has adaptive sync of either flavour

  • Can be stacked with Cashback (12%)? please confirm?

dont think so as one of the coupon code is not listed.

  • Can we use this with Macbook pro?

    • +1

Yes but you need this to enable retina rendering

      • -5

Wait…you have to install 3rd party software to use the available resolutions of a monitor/graphics card on Apple devices….why do people continue to buy this trash, and then have the audacity to say "it's easier" or "it just works".

        • +2

This is not a retina/HiDPI-class monitor. This monitor is 122PPI, while the iMac 27" is 220DPI.

If I were the parent commenter, I wouldn't run this in retina so you won't need that software.

  • Flight sim 2020 here i come.

  • Who the heck has $1300+ to spend on a monitor? This is crazy.

If you don't see the many reasons for the price point of this monitor, it's clearly not for you.

      • Yeah, that much is clear.

    Cries with my $300 budget

  • No VA, no deal 😛

    • I love the high contrast of the VA panel too, but there is no 38" UWQHD+ VA monitor on the market.

  • I was off preparing my business case for this genuine high yield investment yesterday for the CFO, got approval to purchased but missed out. If you snooze you lose!

    • Same boat! I was moving house and have been checking OZB and price alerts daily for the last 3 months waiting for a significant drop. The one day I don't get a chance to check until close to midnight and bam! It's gone :-( So devo!

  • Waiting for Xiaomi to match the specs with half the price

    • +1

You'll be waiting awhile. Xiaomi are aimed at lower, budget conscious consumers that don't care about the quality as much. You can't really compare a Dell monitor against Xiaomi as the Dell will always come out in front (everywhere except price).
