I had one of these a while ago. Looks good but the touchpad is horrendous. Spend a little more and get something usable like the k400. This stuff is future landfill

It's landfill. Don't bother. I'm speaking from experience
Had two of the air mouse (Ebay cheapies) one stopped working after a couple months. One is still going for around two years. Friend has one too and his is working for maybe closer to three years… So 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Don't even know if there are bigger brand names doing these kind of products, I doubt it in this size.
I have one of the older style ones (like this and out of the box it was average. You could change the sensitivity/cursor speed though which made a huge improvement. Doesn't come close to the K400 but it's compact, backlit and does the job.
Also has the old style and yes average. I now use the Minix Neo A2 remote.
Logitech K400 is a much better option. Granted its double the price of this thing but it's much better
it's quadruple the size though

We use for tv box. Ie not a lot.
They last under a year.
Isn't the 'upgraded' model supposed to be the X8+ (voice controlled)?
