Have you played the expansion? Would you recommend it?
Haven't played the expansion, but we love the original and reviews generally say it isn't essential but some of the expansion modes are a great addition to an already perfect game.
We have this and each of the 4 included expansions add good variation to game-play. If you like the original game, this adds a bit of variety.
This is not just one expansion but 4 different variants bundled into one box. So, if you want to use the cities expansion, you don't use the others in that box (orient/trading posts/strongholds). Each variant adds a different twist, so it depends on how you tend to like playing. I personally like Cities because it makes the game longer and less 'aggressive', but you might enjoy the others. At this price though it's worth taking a punt if you don't mind counterfeits (which this almost certainly is).

Ever tried it two player? Worth it? How hard is it to learn with just two?
The base game is great even with two players but this is an expansion to the base game. It is a very easy game to learn.
Solid expansion. I paid $30 last year for mine but this is reasonable. Would recommend.
At that price it's almost guaranteed to be the fake one since it's roughly half price of normal. It's fine if you don't mind it, I bought base+expansion ~$60 from ebay and it's playable, just low quality. 'Fulfilled by Amazon' just means that the stock is at an amazon warehouse. Give it a go and if it is counterfeit then just return it or something.
