    Any rating for sound produced?
    My parents got a big 'industrial' fan from bunnings last summer and it was so loud they had to return it. To be fair it did move some air…

          Unless you wear ear plugs, i wouldn't use this for night. It's more for blowing hot air out of your room.

      Don't have a sound rating unfortunately. But at this price, if you can't use it's too loud for the room, it's still good for a garage or the backyard barbie during summer

    I picked up both fans from Holden Hill, S.A. this morning. The pedestal fan is fairly quiet, it would be no problem listening to the TV on the low setting, and I am sure I could sleep with the fan going on the fastest setting, but I really don't think I would need the fan fan going that fast indoors, it moves a lot of air.

    Sticker on the motor unit says its 100W, but is this on the low or high setting? I'd like to use the fan for long periods of time (up to 48h) so just wondering what the power consumption is like on the lowest setting?

    Weather is heating up! So glad for everyone who got this fan. Was at Bunnings today and their industrial fans were over $100.

    Haven’t set up the fan yet though, still in the box. Looks like a weekend project.
